Abstract: A plant for producing an extruded silicone intermediate has a mixer/extruder for mixing and subsequently extruding a silicone compound for producing a raw silicone extrudate. A heating apparatus of the plant serves for crosslinking the raw extrudate to give the crosslinked silicone intermediate. The result is a plant with which a silicone intermediate of this kind can be produced more economically.

The device housing is adapted to accommodate a component of a device and the switch cabinet is adapted to accommodate electrical equipment for the device. The switch cabinet is operable to be moved between an open position and a closed position relative to the device housing. When in the closed position a wall of the switch cabinet closes off an opening in the device housing, and when in the open position the wall of the switch cabinet is removed from the opening in the device housing so as to expose that opening.

Abstract: A multi-component plastic body designed as a multi-layered tube has at least one silicone component and at least one further polymer component made of a further nonpolar polymer. A bonding agent between the silicone component and the further polymer component has bonding bodies which mechanically bond the two components to one another. For the production of such a multi-component plastic body, first a base component is produced. The bonding agent is applied thereto, and subsequently a cover component is applied to the base component, such that the bonding agent comes to lie between the silicone component and the further polymer component. The result is a multi-component plastic body having a secure bond between the at least one silicone component and the at least one further polymer component.
