  • Patent number: 11610672
Abstract: In a system, a medical apparatus and a remote control device perform a pairing procedure, in which the remote control device sends an identifier of the remote control device, the medical apparatus sends a time-referenced information, the remote control device receives the time-referenced information and generates a first hash key based on the identifier and the time-referenced information, and the medical apparatus receives the identifier and generates a second hash key based on the identifier and the time-referenced information. The second hash key corresponds to the first hash key, wherein, when the pairing has been successfully completed, the remote control device sends an instruction controlling the medical apparatus based on the first hash key, and the medical apparatus accepts the instruction if the first hash key corresponds to the second hash key.

  • Patent number: 9941084
Abstract: In some aspects, a switching device for a medical apparatus includes a first switching member adapted to select an assigned operating function of the medical apparatus; and a second switching member adapted to permit the selecting of the assigned operating function of the first switching member. The second switching member is adapted such that it has a detection space in which it detects a presence of an operating object; and the first switching member is arranged in the detection space of the second switching member.

  • Publication number: 20090126115
Abstract: A remote controller for an adjustable support apparatus for supporting a patient includes an input device configured to accept control commands for adjusting a support apparatus for supporting a patient, at least one sensor configured to detect a pick-up of the remote controller by a user, and a transmitter device configured to transmit the control commands to the support apparatus for supporting a patient. The detection of the pick-up of the remote controller by the user activates the remote controller.

  • Publication number: 20090126112
Abstract: An operating table column is disclosed which includes a column shaft, on which an operating table top can be fixed, and a column foot which can be secured in place on a floor. The column shaft is mounted on the column foot so as to be rotatable about its vertical axis. Electrical transmission elements which interact with one another are arranged on the column shaft and on the column foot for transferring electrical energy, and the column shaft is freely rotatable in relation to the column foot while a transfer of electricity via the transmission elements is maintained.
