  • Patent number: 8226037
Abstract: An aircraft door assembly of an aircraft, having a fuselage with a door opening and a door frame, encompassing an aircraft door fittable in the door frame. The door includes a door structure having an outer skin and is liftable from a locked closed position into a unlocked closed position, pivotable into an open position located outside the door frame and outside the fuselage, pivotable from the open position back into the unlocked closed position, and lowerable into the locked closed position such that in the locked closed position, a door gap is present between the door frame and a door edge. The gap defines a space for lifting and lowering the door. The door also includes, on its outer side and on a door edge region, a door gap covering element that extends over the door gap onto the outer side of the aircraft fuselage and covers the door gap, when the door is in the locked closed position.

  • Patent number: 7654488
Abstract: A door arrangement for an aircraft that has a fuselage with a fuselage structure includes a door to be arranged inside a door frame of the fuselage structure and a door joint mechanism attached to the door of the door frame and to the fuselage structure. The door joint mechanism has a seven-joint linkage provided with first to seventh joints by means of which the door, guided exclusively in a rotationally articulated manner, is moveable over a predefined pivoting angle range from a closed position inside the door frame to an open position outside of the door frame and fuselage, and back again. In addition, an aircraft, especially a fixed-wing aircraft, encompassing at least one aircraft door arrangement is provided.

  • Patent number: 6634471
Abstract: Hydraulic tension stop for vibration dampers, shock absorbers, or similar piston-cylinder assemblies, where each assembly has a fluid-filled working space, the boundaries of which are formed axially by a piston rod guide and the piston and radially by the cylinder and the piston rod which carries the piston, part of this working space also belonging to the tension stop. A stop ring is mounted on the piston rod, which ring cooperates with a slotted, outwardly tensioned damping ring, so that the tension damping can be varied as a function of the stroke. When the stop ring reaches a predetermined position, the damping ring seats in a rest-position channel in a slide face permanently attached to the cylinder, the channel having a conical surface.

  • Patent number: 6305867
Abstract: A connection is provided for the sections of a separable guide tube and of a drive shaft disposed therein. Shaft sections of the drive shaft are interlockingly coupled together, wherein the ends of the shaft sections interengage one another. One of the shaft sections has an insertion end having a rotationally symmetrical non-circular cross-sectional configuration. A drive sleeve is coaxially secured to the other shaft section and has a coupling cross-sectional configuration that corresponds to the insertion end. Which is introduceable into the driving sleeve. An axial introduction adapter is provided on the driving sleeve and has at least one inwardly projecting introduction ramp, which extends over an angle of curvature between two adjacent large diameters of the coupling cross-sectional configuration of the driving sleeve. The introduction ramp includes an axially decreasing ramp surface that forms a shoulder for the insertion end.
