  • Publication number: 20250083662
Abstract: A vehicle system for assisting a user in a parking lot includes a detection module configured to receive data relating to the parking lot and a control module. The control module is configured to detect whether an available parking space is present in the parking lot based on the received data from the detection module, determine an amount of space required by the user to exit a vehicle, determine whether the available parking space provides sufficient space for the user based on the determined amount of required space, and in response to determining that the available parking space provides sufficient space for the user, optimize a parking bias of the vehicle relative to at least one boundary of the available parking space based on the amount of space required by the user. Other example vehicle systems and methods for assisting users in parking lots are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 12243326
Abstract: Systems and methods for controlling a vehicle are provided. The systems and methods receive a frame of visible image data from at least one camera of the vehicle and a frame of invisible perception data from a perception sensor. The systems and methods fuse the frame of invisible perception data and the frame of visible image data to provide a fused frame of perception data. Object detection, classification and tracking are performed using a neural network based on the fused frame of perception data to provide object detection data. Steering, propulsion and/or braking of the vehicle are controlled based on the object detection data.

  • Patent number: 10496498
Abstract: A system for providing high availability to persistent data is provided that persists data on a node in discrete partitions that are each backed up on separate backup systems. When the system detects that the data saved on the node is compromised, the system could restore the data from multiple backup systems. Since the backup systems hold discrete sets of data that do not overlap one another, the backup systems are able to simultaneously and locklessly restore data to the compromised node.

  • Publication number: 20100061547
Abstract: A method of reducing a first data word corresponding to a polynomial C(x) and having a length of a maximum of 2n?1 to a second data word of a length of a maximum m which in a binary finite field GF(2m) whose elements are of a maximum length m corresponds to a polynomial C?0(x) equivalent to C(x), wherein m is smaller than or equal to n, includes partitioning of the first data word into a binary first sub-data word C0 and a binary second sub-data word C1, repeated right-shift of C1 to form summand terms until a respective summand term is associated with each non-disappearing term of a reduction trinomial or pentanomial which is not the term xm, adding the summand terms formed to the first sub-data word to form a sum data word and applying the partitioning step to the summand data word formed until the ascertained sum data word is of a length of a maximum m and forms the desired second data word.

  • Publication number: 20070063089
Abstract: An apparatus on a spinning machine for depositing fibre sliver. The apparatus comprises a delivery device comprising a coiler plate adapted to deliver fibre sliver in the form of a can-less fibre sliver package. The apparatus also comprises a substantially planar receiving support surface onto which the fibre sliver is deposited, the receiving support surface adapted to move back and forth in a deposition area with respect to the delivery device through a substantially horizontal stroke. The receiving support surface is also adapted to move away from the delivery device in a substantially vertical stroke during delivery of the fibre sliver. The delivery device and the receiving support surface are both adapted to remain in contact with the fibre sliver as it is deposited in the form of a can-less fibre sliver package, such that the fibre sliver package is stabilized during the substantially horizontal stroke and during lowering of the receiving support surface.
