  • Publication number: 20190219402
Abstract: A method visually guides a person who is carrying an identifier device, for example a mobile terminal having the identifier, and who is travelling along a route from a starting position to a destination position. The method includes correlating the identifier, in particular a UUID of the mobile terminal, a symbol representing the person and the route with one another and ascertaining a current position of the identifier device using the identifier while the person is travelling along the route. The symbol is displayed on the basis of the ascertained position and of the route by at least one display device, different from the identifier device, located along the route in order to visually guide the person from the starting position to the destination position along the route.

  • Publication number: 20190043131
Abstract: A device has a database containing information about construction projects for an infrastructure network. A geographical area affected by the construction project is associated with each construction project. The device also has an interface for communication with a mobile terminal of a user and a processing device. The processing device is configured to determine the position of the mobile terminal, to transmit information to the mobile terminal about a construction project with an associated geographical area containing the position, and to receive an investment instruction from a user of the mobile appliance for the implementation of the construction project.

  • Publication number: 20180095157
Abstract: A sensor device for a vehicle that traveling on a predetermined route, particularly a rail vehicle, includes a plurality of sensors configured to detect movement of the sensor device and/or physical variables of an environment of the sensor device, and to issue corresponding measurement values. The sensors include magnetic sensors for detecting orientation and/or pressure sensors and/or real time clocks. A data storage unit is configured to store reference measurement values for the sensors, relating to predetermined positions on the predetermined route. A computing unit is configured to compare the measurement values issued by the sensors with the stored reference measurement values and, when the measurement values issued by the sensors coincide with the reference measurement values, to issue, as a current position of the sensor device, a position corresponding to the respective reference measurement values. A corresponding vehicle and a corresponding method are also provided.

  • Patent number: 9145964
Abstract: The invention relates to a bevel gear wheel (1) of a bevel gear unit, each tooth (2) of which comprises a load flank (3) and a non-working flank (4), wherein the teeth (2) have a helical or spiral tooth trace, in particular a curved tooth longitudinal line, and the teeth (2), in particular the upper meshing region of the teeth, have an octoid tooth shape or a spherical involute tooth shape, and the teeth have an excess material quantity (11) on the load flanks (4) in order to reinforce the load flanks (4), in particular such that the axis (9) that runs through the tooth tip-bisecting point A1 of the tooth tip transverse line (23) and through the midpoint of the gear wheel exhibits asymmetry of the teeth (2). The invention further relates to a method for producing a bevel gear wheel (1) according to one of the preceding claims, in which the tooth geometry is produced by a four-axis or multi-axis method, in particular a five-axis method.

  • Patent number: 8838636
Abstract: Systems of computer hardware for unifying data are presented including: a complex enterprise query client; a web sphere federation server (WSFS) electronically coupled with the complex enterprise query client, the WSFS configured for receiving a complex query from the complex enterprise query client; a first and second data service wrapper of a number of wrappers configured for transforming a first and second sub-query of the complex query corresponding with a first and second data type into a first and second data query; and a network traversal framework configured for receiving the first data query and the second data query, for sending consolidated first and second data results corresponding with the first and second data query to the first and second data service wrapper.
