  • Patent number: 8066414
Abstract: An LED lamp has a lamp base and a support connected to the lamp base, on which at least one LED is mounted, the support including at least one hollow element, each with at least two air passage openings to permit an air flow through a cavity of at least one hollow element.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 27, 2008
Date of Patent: November 29, 2011
    Assignee: Osram AG
    Inventors: Wolfgang Pabst, Steffen Straub
  • Patent number: 7957146
Abstract: The invention relates to an illumination device (1) comprising at least one preferably ceramic substrate plate (2), at least one luminous element (3) arranged on a front side (A) of the substrate plate (2) in particular at least one light emitting diode (LED) (3), and at least one preferably metallic heat sink (4) connected, in particular adhesively bonded and/or soldered, to a rear side (B) of the substrate plate (2) over a large area, wherein the coefficients of thermal expansion of substrate plate (2) and heat sink (4) differ at least by the factor 1.5, in particular by a factor greater than 2. The heat sink (4) has at least one preferably linear recess (6) on its side facing the rear side (B) of the substrate plate (2).

  • Patent number: 4482191
Abstract: A dual circuit brake valve which is provided with a relief connection intended for two separate individual valves and in which two outlet valve seats are disposed centrally in the valve. The two outlet valve seats are prestressed with respect to one another by way of a bolt and a prestressed pressure-limiting spring in such a way that at a time braking begins the two individual valves represent a rigid connection. From a pressure limitation point on, the two individual valves then support themselves elastically against one another, so that a further increase in braking pressure is precluded. The dual circuit brake valve is intended for brake systems having high pressure as a reservoir pressure and normal pressure as the braking pressure.

  • Patent number: 4162083
Abstract: A leveling control mechanism for motor vehicles includes an electric pump and a solenoid valve for raising and lowering the vehicle body and a leveling switch with an electronic damping device. The periodic measurement of the distance from the vehicle axle to the vehicle body is carried out by a mechanical-electrical converter, which converts the rotation of a shaft into an electrical signal. During acceleration and deceleration of the vehicle, as well as during the occurrence of centrifugal forces, suitably situated inertial switches inhibit the response of the leveling control mechanism.
