Abstract: A handling system for lifting or moving a person from a first position to another, including a bottom part having a substantially vertical guiding part, and a guided part being guided by the vertical guiding part allowing a lifting arm to be at least vertically adjustable, the system further including a support part for fixating and supporting the person during the lifting or moving, and a support connection connected to drive means, for winding or unwinding the support connection, and the support part during the lifting or moving, where the at least vertically adjustable lifting arm is actuated by actuator means during the at least vertical adjusting of the lifting arm.
