  • Patent number: 12230856
Abstract: The invention relates to a waveguide arrangement for guiding electromagnetic waves, which comprises a rectangular waveguide and a circular waveguide. The rectangular waveguide merges into the circular waveguide at an angle. The circular waveguide is filled with a dielectric which projects into the rectangular waveguide in a transition section. The dielectric filling is beveled at a defined angle in the transition section so that a transition surface is formed by the inner edge at the transition of the waveguide arrangement and the end face of the rectangular waveguide at the transition. The dielectric filling is preferably flush with the closing wall of the rectangular waveguide.

  • Publication number: 20240305002
Abstract: A radar measuring device having a radio frequency unit for generating and/or receiving electromagnetic waves using an antenna for directional radiation of the electromagnetic waves, in which a waveguide for transmitting the electromagnetic waves is arranged between the radio frequency unit and the antenna is formed from two half-shells extending in the longitudinal direction of said waveguide.

  • Publication number: 20230408319
Abstract: The present invention relates to a topology-acquiring radar level gauge for measuring a fill level and a topology of a fill material, comprising: a radar unit; an antenna having at least one transmitting element and at least two receiving elements; a control unit; and a memory, in which at least two different sets of calibration data are stored in the memory.

  • Patent number: 10886624
Abstract: Exemplary waveguide coupling configuration can be provided for a fill level radar antenna, e.g., in the form of a line scanner. The exemplary waveguide coupling configuration can include a waveguide openings on the antenna side which can have a distance from one another that can correspond to less than or equal to one half of the wavelength of the transmission signal. For example, the distance between adjacent radiator elements can be greater than one half of the wavelength of the transmission signal. In this exemplary manner, more space can be provided for a front end on the printed circuit board.

  • Publication number: 20180301818
Abstract: An antenna assembly for a level radar for detecting a topology of a filling material surface is provided. For example, the antenna assembly comprises antenna elements which are designed and/or configured to transmit and/or receive the electromagnetic measurement signal. The distances between adjacent elements are non-equidistant with respect to one another, and the minimum distance between two elements can correspond to one half of a wavelength of the electromagnetic measurement signal.
