  • Publication number: 20070126549
Abstract: A small inexpensive two terminal variable resistance assembly that conveniently changes its resistance when a force of an actuator is applied. It can be made for power applications as well as in miniature dimension versions in values from milli-ohms to meg-ohms. This variable resistor increases its power handling capacity during a decrease in its ohmic value, contrary to present three terminal potentiometers or reostats. It does this by a rolling action that increases or decreases two resistive surface areas in parallel. It could also be used as a variable capacitor.

  • Publication number: 20070000099
Abstract: This is a unique, yet simple clip that also serves as a label for identification. It can be attached to a bundle of papers or on a file folder. It can also have adhesives for such attachment either on a permanent or removable basis. It can be used either in an office environment or in a home and can have a writable surface as well as having several embossed alpha-numeric or Braille characters.

  • Publication number: 20060213125
Abstract: A gas generator with the sole input of air, water and coal that continuously produces hydrogen and carbon monoxide and further reacts these two gases into alcohol. This gas generator/reactor is using its own by-products and is therefore also self sustaining.

  • Publication number: 20060145638
Abstract: Control signal generation for a direct current brushless motor having a single stator coil with two free ends and same number of stator poles as magnet poles. It is describing how to cost effectively generate control signals required for operation of the motor. This is done without Hall sensors by shunting the two free ends of the coil with a plurality of resistors and a plurality of steering diodes. These control signals together with rotation direction sensing is processed by a micro controller to energize the single motor coil both for correct starting and running.

  • Publication number: 20060060164
Abstract: This invention concerns internal combustion engines without lubricating oil. In a 2-stroke design this means that no oil is mixed into the fuel. In a 4-stroke design the engine would not have an oil pump or an oil reservoir. Both the 2 stroke and 4 stroke engines of this invention has rotating parts that are journalled with anti-friction bearings and the engines sliding parts are lubricated with low friction materials.

  • Publication number: 20050127771
Abstract: A more fuel efficient automotive generator, then present alternators, because of its better magnetic utilization of its series connected copper windings on its salient stator poles. It also has output options for resistive loads as well as for direct current devises with both options designed for lower cost, smaller physical size, greater electrical efficiency and lower diode losses.

  • Publication number: 20050122074
Abstract: A single coil, direct current permanent magnet brushless motor including a stator including six alternately-wound coils connected into a single coil having first and second ends, the oppositely-wound coils forming stator poles, and six magnets of alternating polarity coupled to a rotor and rotatably journaled in the stator. A sensor, such as a dual output Hall sensor, is used for sensing rotation of the rotor. A drive circuit, such as an H-bridge circuit, is coupled to the first and second ends of the single coil to drive the motor. The H-bridge circuit includes two high-side switches for alternately receiving signals from the Hall sensor, and two low-side switches alternately receiving signals from the Hall sensor. A high-side switching signal can be controlled by an inverted low-side switching signal. A voltage boost circuit is also provided, having capacitors to provide a boosted voltage to alternately turn on the high-side switches of the H-bridge.

  • Publication number: 20050105964
Abstract: An in-expensive method to join metals or other materials by a slug that is compressed or clinched into a punched or machined substantially rectangular slot in two adjoining pieces. The final assembly is flat and of the same thickness as the clinched material. It could be used to advantage in a mitered frame type assembly.

  • Publication number: 20050099077
Abstract: A simplified magnetic coupling utilizing the available rotating permanent magnets on an electric motor rotor to be the “drive” component in the magnetic coupling of the present invention. The “driven part of the magnetic coupling is a co-axially journalled second rotor, driven by magnetic flux from the rotating permanent magnets on the motor rotor mentioned above. A membrane between these two rotors can hermetically separate the drive part from the driven part. This invention has fewer parts, has both less costly parts and assembly and is also more compact then related art.
