  • Patent number: 6682385
Abstract: A toy building element comprising one or more first beam-like parts (23, 24) with a plane internal face and an external face, and one or more other beam-like parts (21, 22) with a plane internal face and an external face. The beam-like parts are assembled in at least one corner whereby two internal faces are caused to form an angle of less than 180° relative to each other. At least the first beam-like part (23, 24) is/are provided with an opening (7) that extends transversally thereto from the external face to the internal face, and the opening (7) is arranged so far towards the corner that the plane for the face of the plane internal face (4) of the second beam-like part (21, 22) intersects the opening in the plane for the face of the plane internal face (3) of the first beam-like part (23, 24).

  • Patent number: 6461215
Abstract: A toy building set comprising toy building elements (1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11) which may be coupled together to build structures. Some of the toy building elements are in the form of shafts (5) and bushings (7) which are capable of coupling other toy building elements together, as these other toy building elements are provided with coupling means which are complementary to said shafts (5) and bushings (7). The toy building set also comprises at least one tubular, elongated, flexible toy building element (6) which essentially has a uniform cross section over its entire length, and whose end faces appear as clean cuts perpendicular to its longitudinal direction. This tubular, elongated, flexible toy building element (6) has such an inner shape that it may be coupled together with said shafts (5) and bushings (7) by gripping at least a portion of these.

  • Patent number: 5890943
Abstract: constructional building set comprising gear boxes which are provided with guide grooves and shaft passages. The guide grooves and the shaft passages are constructed such that transmission elements can be inserted into the guide grooves from the outer side of the gear box in such a manner that the transmission elements are positioned in alignment with the shaft passages in the gear boxes. When the gear box additionally comprises means for releasable geometrical retention of the transmission elements in their position in alignment with the shaft passages after insertion of the transmission elements into the gear box, it is ensured that the shafts can be pulled out of the assembled gear structure without the transmission elements dropping out of the gear structure. This simplifies the mounting operation and makes it easier to use the gear structure as an assembled unit that can be used for different applications.

  • Patent number: 5424513
Abstract: The method and the device for carrying out the method are used for producing transformers (27, 28, 29) which are filled with insulating means, especially transformers for distribution systems. In the case of the method, solid insulation of the transformers is dried in the device before addition of an insulating means, in that the low-voltage windings are short-circuited in every transformer, and the parallel-connected high-voltage windings (30, 31, 32) are heated by means of a low-frequency AC current. In this case, the mean temperature of the windings of the transformers is determined at the same time by measuring the low-frequency AC current, in order thus to make it possible to dry the solid insulation well.
