  • Publication number: 20230137414
Abstract: The centrifugal positive locking brake works inversely, that means, locking upon stopping and decoupling on start-up. When the drive motor is de-energized, the fixed ratchet(s) hit against at least one locking abutment on a locking disc positively fixed to the frame and lock the shutter. When voltage is applied, and with the associated quick start-up of the drive motor , the ratchet(s) disengage because of their inertia. This centrifugal positive locking brake for shutter drives is operated with a specially designed control method. After the power supply is interrupted, the ratchet(s) are drawn inward by the reloaded spring(s) so that they run against the locking abutment(s) and the shutter reliably locks in this position.

  • Patent number: 10746238
Abstract: The invention concerns a centrifugal positive blocking brake for shutter drives. The brake includes centrifugal blocks, central spring element, and a drive motor comprising a drive shaft. A turntable is coupled with the drive shaft. The central spring element having a preloaded spring is centrifugally guided in a recess of the turntable. Either side of the spring is connected with a radially movable engaging tab element. Two different radially acting abutments are disposed on the central spring element and are movable towards recess. The engaging tab element has at least one engaging tab pointing radially inwards. The centrifugal block is attached to the engaging tab element. In the de-energized state of the drive motor, the engaging tab elements together with the centrifugal blocks disposed on them engage into detents of a frame-fixed detent disc with at least one engaging tab in a frictionally and positively locking manner.

  • Patent number: 10666124
Abstract: A linear stepper motor with an actuating rod in a housing with a stator, a rotor and a replaceable bearing shield fixed on the stator is provided. The rotor includes a threaded shaft. The bearing shield defines two guide cut-outs. The actuating rod includes a spindle nut portion engaged with the threaded shaft, a replaceable coupling shank for a customer-specific actuating element, and two opposing parallel fork legs which link the spindle nut portion and the coupling shank and which are guided in a rotation-locked manner through the two guide cut-outs.

  • Patent number: 10502323
Abstract: A shut-off valve for integration into an intelligent gas meter for residential or industrial gas supply, has an inlet, an outlet and a valve seat having a lip seal. A shut-off body is longitudinally displaceable with respect to the valve by a motor driven transmission, using a nut-threaded-spindle drive, to engage with or disengage from, the seal to open or close the valve. The transmission of the valve remains largely unbiased in the closed state while maintaining the gas-tightness of the valve.

  • Publication number: 20180223972
Abstract: A linear stepper motor includes a rotor, two plain bearings, two motor bearing shields, a spindle nut, and a fork-shaped actuating rod. The rotor has a rotor shaft that comprises a motive thread and is configured to drive a linearly guided actuator. The rotor shaft has plain bearing journals at ends thereof, which each comprise an end radially and axially enclosed in the plain bearings seated in the motor bearing shields, and, by the motive thread, axially drives the spindle nut connected with the fork-shaped actuating rod in a rotation-proof manner. The rotor shaft includes a flexurally and torsionally rigid plastic threaded spindle with coaxially arranged metallic shaft ends so as to act as metallic journals on opposite ends for concurrent plain bearing support and axial support.

  • Patent number: 9677332
Abstract: An actuator drive, for blinds, roller shutters and the like, has a drive motor and a centrifugal brake. A rotational disk is coupled to a drive shaft of the drive motor via a shaft flange. Two centrifugal shoes are smoothly guided in the rotational disk. In the unpowered state, brake shoes of the centrifugal shoes engage, frictionally or in a positive-locking way on an outer surface of a friction ring fixed to the motor housing. Upon starting of the drive motor, the brake shoes release the friction ring. The radial displacement of the brake shoes is maintained until the drive motor comes to a stop, wherein the brake shoes 8 are drawn radially inward by spring elements and function again as a locking mechanism. The spring elements are pretensioned such that the brake shoes effect a sufficient retaining torque.

  • Patent number: 9372497
Abstract: A rotary actuator has a first rotatable part having a control surface with an undulating or sawtooth profile, and has a fixed second part having at least one detent element running on the control surface. The detent element is accommodated, in a manner which allows movement against a restoring force, in an aperture which tapers in a V shape towards the first part. The detent element is accommodated with play between the side walls bounding the aperture. The detent element interacts with the radially oriented control surface in such a way that, as it runs up a projection on the control surface as a result of a movement of the first part, it is moved against one side wall and, upon passing beyond the projection, strikes against the other side wall due the restoring force.
