Abstract: A hooked pry bar device for separating metal parts for separating metal parts a torque rod with a proximate end and a distal end. A slide stop is coupled to the proximate end. A transition curve that has a second end is coupled at a first end to the distal end of the torque rod. A spacer plate that has a distal terminus is coupled at a proximate terminus to the second end of the transition curve. A penetrating plate that has a second endpoint is coupled at a first endpoint to the distal terminus of the spacer plate. The second endpoint can be inserted between two overlapping pieces of metal and is capable of cutting through attachments securing the pieces of metal together. The penetrating plate is placed between the overlapping pieces of metal. The user can apply force to the torque rod to separate the pieces of metal.
