Patent number: 11312040Abstract: A method of producing a bioplastic granulate on the basis of sunflower seed shells or sunflower seed hulls. In the method, ground sunflower seed shells/sunflower seed hull material is provided, wherein the particle size is in the region of 3 mm or less, preferably in the region of 0.01 to 1 mm, preferably in the region of 0.1 to 0.3 mm. A plastic material is provided, which is compounded with the sunflower seed shells/sunflower seed hull material, wherein the compounding operation is preferably effected in an extruder, preferably a double-screw extruder. The compounded material is chopped at the end of the extruder section with a tool with the addition of water, wherein the water is at a temperature of preferably more than 50° C., preferably about 80 to 90° C., to cool down the compound material. During the compounding operation, the compounding material is subjected to atmospheric degassing and/or vacuum degassing.Type: GrantFiled: September 13, 2017Date of Patent: April 26, 2022Assignee: SPC SUNFLOWER PLASTIC COMPOUND GMBHInventors: Sebastian Meyer, Fabian Hummert, Reinhard Trumme, Stephan Albers

Patent number: 10858511Abstract: A process for producing a biomaterial product based on sunflower seed hulls/sunflower seed husks comprising providing or producing a sunflower plastic compound (SPC) compounded material (SPC PBS, SPC PBSA), wherein the material is obtained by compounding a sunflower seed hull material/sunflower seed husk material with a biodegradable plastic, for example polybutylene succinate (PBS), polybutylene succinate-adipate (PBSA), or the like. The SPC compounded material is preferably used for producing an injection molded product, for example biodegradable containers, packagings, films or the like, in particular coffee capsules, tea capsules, urns, cups, plant pots, flowerpots, or the like.Type: GrantFiled: April 25, 2017Date of Patent: December 8, 2020Assignee: SPC Sunflower Plastic Compound GmbHInventors: Sebastian Meyer, Ulrich Meyer, Reinhard Trumme, Christina Simeone, Stephan Albers

Patent number: 10525869Abstract: A locking device for containers on a vehicle chassis, having a housing, a plug-in pin which is mounted displaceably in the housing and/or a rotary pin which is mounted rotatably in the housing, wherein the plug-in pin and/or the rotary pin can be moved between an open position and a locked position. The invention was based on the problem of providing a locking device for containers which is triggered automatically by way of the loading operation. According to the invention, the problem is solved by the fact that a spring element which interacts with a triggering element acts on the plug-in pin or the rotary pin, wherein the triggering unit has at least one sensing bolt which protrudes out of the housing in the direction of a container fitting in the open position.Type: GrantFiled: September 18, 2015Date of Patent: January 7, 2020Assignee: JOST-WERKE GMBHInventors: Hans-Peter Paulekuhn, José Manuel Algüera, Stephan Albers

Patent number: 9447618Abstract: A locking device for containers with a container lock housing and with a locking hook. The locking hook has a pivot axis, which is stationary relative to the container lock housing and which can pivot about the locking hook into a standby position and a locking position. An activation mechanism is included for the locking hook, which has a first actuating element and a second actuating element as well as a release mechanism. The first actuating element holds the locking hook in its standby position, while the second actuating element is configured such that it blocks and clamps the locking hook in its locking position. The release mechanism after the releasing acts on the first actuating element and/or on the second actuating element, which automatically brings about the clamping and blocking of the locking hook in its locking position by the second actuating element.Type: GrantFiled: July 25, 2013Date of Patent: September 20, 2016Assignee: JOST-WERKE GMBHInventors: Stephan Albers, Hans-Peter Paulekuhn, Michael Eiermann, José Manuel Algüera
