  • Patent number: 12006253
Abstract: An optical fiber curing component includes a first tube comprising a first body defining a first interior surface and a first exterior surface, the first tube defining a first aperture and a second aperture on opposite ends of a first cavity, wherein the first tube defines a central axis extending through the first cavity; light sources coupled to the first body of the first tube and configured to emit light toward the central axis of the first tube, wherein each of the light sources intersect a common plane defined perpendicular to the central axis of the first tube; a silica glass article, having an anti-reflective coating, disposed between each of the plurality of light sources and the central axis of the first tube; and a reflective coating positioned on the interior surface of the first body and configured to reflect the light toward the central axis of the first tube.

  • Publication number: 20240139820
Abstract: The present disclosure provides three-dimensional (3D) printing systems, apparatuses, software, and methods for the production of at least one requested 3D object. The 3D printer includes a material conveyance system, filtering system, and/or an unpacking station. The material conveyance system may transport pre-transformed material (e.g., powder) against gravity. The 3D printing described herein facilitated reducing interruptions of (e.g., providing non interrupted) (ii) material recycling, and/or (i) material dispensing through a component of the 3D printer such as a layer dispenser. The material conveyance system may operate above ambient pressure, e.g., while performing a suction operation. The present disclosure provides three-dimensional (3D) printing processes, apparatuses, software, and systems for controlling and/or treating gas and gas borne debris in an atmosphere of a 3D printer.

  • Patent number: 11971832
Abstract: A method can include: receiving a plurality of consecutive commands on a unidirectional command-address (CA) bus input of a discrete nonvolatile memory (NVM) device, the commands being synchronous with a timing clock; for each received command, determining if the command is an express read (NVR) command, if a command is determined to be an NVR command, determining if a next consecutive command is an NVR command, wherein consecutive NVR commands form an NVR command sequence; in response to the no more than the NVR command sequence, accessing read data stored in NVM cells of the NVM device; and driving the read data on parallel data input/outputs (I/Os) of the NVM device in a burst of data values, the data values of the burst being output in synchronism with rising and falling edges of the timing clock; wherein the CA bus input includes a plurality of parallel CA signal inputs. Related memory devices and systems are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 5757273
Abstract: The multifunctional personal alert safety system of the present invention includes a portable safety monitoring device which is removably coupled for independent operation to an external self contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) containing a source of pressurized air. The portable safety monitoring device comprises a motion sensor unit, an alarm and a control having an activated position and a deactivated position. In addition the system includes a pressure switch which is responsive to the flow of pressurized air from said self contained breathing apparatus above a predetermined minimum level for causing the control to activate putting the motion sensor unit and alarm in an operational mode. Once in an operational mode the motion sensor and alarm remain operational independent of further operation of the pressure switch. A manual switch is also included for operating the portable monitoring safety device independent of the self contained breathing apparatus when the control is deactivated.
