  • Publication number: 20240002008
Abstract: An electric small-sized vehicle, in particular an electric scooter, having a rear wheel, a frame, a support with a foot board and a wheel folding mechanism. The support includes a rear support section connected to the rear wheel, a front support section connected to the frame, and a receiving area for the rear wheel. The wheel folding mechanism has a first joint with a first pivot axis. The vehicle is adjustable from an unfolded position into a folded position via the joint. The front support section is connected to the rear support section by the first joint. In the unfolded position, the rear wheel is positioned in an outer position where the rear wheel is arranged outside of the receiving area, and in the folded position, the rear wheel is positioned in an inner position where the rear wheel is at least partly arranged within the receiving area.

  • Publication number: 20230264775
Abstract: A vehicle, such as a cargo cycle, may have a multi-part frame, a single wheel and a wheel pair having two mutually spaced wheels. The single wheel may be connected to a first frame part of the frame, and the two wheels may be rotatably mounted about a common axis on a second frame part of the frame, where the first and second frame parts are connected with at least one joint and are rotatable relative to each other about a pivot axis defined by the at least one joint, the pivot axis running through a contact point of the single wheel. The vehicle also has at least one first drive device which generates a torque, is arranged on the first frame part and is designed to transmit the torque via a device for torque transmission to at least one of the wheels of the wheel pair.

  • Publication number: 20210309315
Abstract: A collision protection device on a motorized bicycle includes a catching element which is securely mounted on a frame of the motorized bicycle. The catching element includes a receptacle which is delimited by two guide sections and is open in the direction towards a front wheel of the motorized bicycle. The free ends of the guide sections pointing in the direction of travel are arranged such that they are always at a distance from the front wheel during normal riding but, in the event of a front-end collision in which the front wheel impacts on an obstacle, the front wheel is pushed into the receptacle between the free ends of the guide portions towards the frame of the motorized bicycle.

  • Patent number: 10696344
Abstract: A scooter, which is driven by an electric motor, for transporting persons, includes an electric drive motor and a standing platform. A front wheel is arranged along a center axis of the standing platform. A steering rod is coupled to the front wheel. Handlebars pivot the front wheel about a rotational axis, which is formed by the steering rod. Two rear wheels are at a spacing from the front wheel and are each arranged laterally offset with respect to the center axis. A feed-through aperture, which is preferably completely closed circumferentially and is passed through by the steering rod, or in which the front wheel sits, is incorporated into the standing platform. The front wheel is flanked on both sides in each case by at least one support element which projects from an underside of the standing platform that faces an underlying surface.

  • Patent number: 10597104
Abstract: A scooter has a foot rest arrangement with a left foot rest surface and a right foot rest surface, a steerable front wheel guide mounted in a head tube so as to be rotatable about a first axis of rotation, and a steering column that can be rotated about a second axis of rotation. The steering column and the front wheel guide are spaced apart from each other and are operatively coupled to each other to transfer a steering movement. The second axis of rotation intersects the foot rest arrangement at an intersection point in such a way that the left and right foot rest surfaces are arranged on either side of the intersection point.

  • Publication number: 20160152298
Abstract: A control grip, for example a throttle grip, which is designed to control the speed of a vehicle on the basis of an axial torque which is applied to the control grip, includes a gripping region which is designed to be held by the hand of a user, and an attachment region which is designed to attach the gripping region to a component of the vehicle such that it cannot axially rotate. The acceleration and/or the speed of the vehicle depends on the axial torque which is applied to the gripping region by the user. The gripping region and the attachment region are connected to one another in a rigid manner or such that they cannot rotate.

  • Patent number: 7534327
Abstract: A device for recovering drinking water from condensate includes a self-supporting moulded part 11 formed of a transparent synthetic resin such as PET or PC, which is resistant to UV radiation. The moulded part 11 presents an open bottom area 16 with a collecting channel 15 on the edge side, with the collecting channel 15 presenting an inner wall 18 oriented towards the circumferential surface 12 and serving, at the same time, as floating aid, and with the moulded part 11 being provided with a pouring opening in its upper section 13 . For the manufacture of this device, a vacuum is created in a special deep-drawing tool not only in the region of the circumferential surface to be produced but also in the region of the collecting channel to be formed, and the moulded part is separated from a separated deep-drawing tool element outside the zone of the collecting channel.
