  • Patent number: 10452742
Abstract: A method for recognizing a deviation of a yaw-rate signal of a sensor of a vehicle is proposed which includes a step of receiving a piece of information regarding a linear acceleration of the vehicle, and a step of receiving the yaw-rate signal, which represents a yaw rate of the vehicle. A step of analyzing the yaw-rate signal takes place when the linear acceleration is smaller than a first threshold value, in order to recognize the deviation of the yaw-rate signal.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 28, 2011
Date of Patent: October 22, 2019
    Assignee: Robert Bosch GmbH

  • Patent number: 7126239
Abstract: A method for triggering at least one restraint means, triggering signals from peripheral acceleration sensors being released by signals from centrally situated acceleration sensors. In this context, a release threshold is raised in the case of a detected misuse behavior, or the release for the triggering signals is blocked.

  • Patent number: 7036845
Abstract: A method of triggering at least one airbag in a vehicle is described, in which two or more criteria are used in the decision to fire the second stage of a two-stage airbag. Variables derived from measurement signals of an acceleration sensor are used as criteria. If these variables exceed threshold values within pre-defined times a firing decision is brought about. The criteria are chosen depending on the type of vehicle. Characteristic curves are used as threshold values. These characteristic curves may be modified depending on the use of a belt.
