  • Publication number: 20210268929
Abstract: A charging system for electric vehicles that includes a plurality of charging stations each adapted to exchange electrical power with at least one electric vehicle. At least one charging profile determination module adapted to: obtain a charging station identifier associated with a first charging station of the plurality of charging stations and a user identifier associated with a user of an electric vehicle to be charged at the first charging station during a charging process. Determining based on the obtained user identifier and the obtained charging station identifier, at least one historical charging process data set relating to the user identifier and the charging station identifier. Estimating at least one charging parameter for the charging process based on the at least one historical charging process data set, and determining the charging curve profile for the charging process based on at least the at least one estimated charging parameter.

  • Publication number: 20210208867
Abstract: A charging station for charging electrically operated vehicles in particular a charging pole has a central control module and at least one secondary module. The secondary module has its own firmware memory and is connected to the central control module via a communication link. The central control module is configured to obtain a firmware update for the at least one secondary module and to cause installation of the obtained firmware update in the firmware memory of the secondary module. The invention further relates to a method for controlling a charging station carried out on a central control module of a charging station, in which a firmware update for an secondary module of the charging station is obtained, in particular received via communication link to an external server, and in which the installation of the obtained firmware update in the firmware memory of the secondary module is caused.

  • Patent number: 10322638
Abstract: The invention relates to a measuring transducer for charging stations of electric vehicles. In the measuring transducer, a measuring device is connected to a direct current charging circuit for detecting at least one direct current measurement variable. A transducer for converting the direct current measurement variable into an alternating current actuating variable is provided, and the measuring transducer also includes an actuating means for adjusting at least one alternating current variable in an alternating current measuring circuit as a function of the alternating current actuating variable.
