  • Patent number: 10512843
Abstract: Systems and methods for using re-playable in-game operations to reach particular user game states in an online gaming platform are disclosed. Exemplary implementations may: manage user inventories for users of the online gaming platform; receive a request, from the first user, for activation of the replay asset by the first user; and execute the set of in-game operations automatically such that a first current user game state for the first user is advanced to a first subsequent user game state for the first user within the online gaming platform, responsive to the activation of the replay asset as requested by the first user.

  • Patent number: 10157387
Abstract: Methods and systems for establishing a reserve price for a publisher's ad space inventory offered via a real-time bidding market are disclosed. In some embodiments, a certain percentage of traffic (e.g., ad requests) received at an ad market server are redirected to one or more external networks, such as ad networks, for processing. The performance of the redirected ad requests is analyzed to determine an expected clearing price for the ad requests. The expected clearing price of a particular ad request corresponding to a particular ad space, if greater than a publisher-established reserve price, is used as a market reserve price when presenting the ad requests in a real-time bidding market.

  • Publication number: 20060235824
Abstract: A method and system for improving the efficiency of a database processing system for evaluating candidate data items representing search listings that are submitted for inclusion into a search engine database. Candidate search listings are automatically assessed for quality, style, and relevance to evaluate risk of unfavorable reception by a user and of potential exposure volume. Search listings which are higher-risk or higher-volume are routed through manual editorial review while lower-risk, lower-volume search listings are routed for immediate inclusion in the search database without manual editorial evaluation. Accordingly, human editorial efforts can be devoted to manual review of high-risk or high-volume search listings while efficiency is simultaneously improved in the processing system as a whole.
