  • Publication number: 20170186090
Abstract: Market data is often provided as inhomogeneous imperfect data with inconsistent granularity and hierarchical entries. Data processing operations may be performed by a user device or by a server coupled to a user device to transform the imperfect market data into perfect market data with consistent granularity where all entries are leaf nodes with no subordinate entries. The data processing includes data correction operations identify provided parent values of parent entries, the parent values based on sets of child values of child entries that are subordinate to the corresponding parent entry (e.g., representing sums, products, minimums, maximums, etc. of the child values) and compare these parent values to calculated values of corresponding operations performed on the provided child values. Additional entries may be generated to absorb any discrepancies identified in these comparisons. Parent nodes can then be removed to remove redundant information and provide uniformity to the market data.

  • Publication number: 20140077110
Abstract: A connector assembly for connecting a medical gas cylinder with a medical gas delivery device is provided. The connector assembly includes a jacketed hose connected at one end to a gas delivery device adaptor and connected at the other end to a male quick coupling element that connects with a cylinder coupling valve assembly. The valve assembly includes a retainer body assembly and a retainer sleeve that define a female quick coupling portion adapted to receive the male type quick coupling element of the hose assembly. The gas delivery device adaptor is an elbow shaped body with an internally disposed 90 degree threaded bore from its distal end to its proximal end. An engagement stem projects from the distal end of elbow shaped body and is adapted to couple the gas delivery device to the jacketed hose via the 90 degree threaded bore.

  • Publication number: 20080110925
Abstract: A medical gas cylinder system is provided that includes a gas cylinder, a gas dispensing mechanism for dispensing the medical gas from the gas cylinder, a flow control valve operatively disposed in the dispensing mechanism and adapted to initiate a flow of medical gas from the gas cylinder upon actuation, and a cylinder contents gauge adapted to indicate the status of medical gas within the gas cylinder. The flow control valve includes a setting to ensure the gas contents of cylinder are evacuated prior to return shipment. The disclosed system further includes a shipping container having a configuration adapted to hold the gas cylinder and dispensing mechanism and having one or more transparent surfaces or windows such that the cylinder contents gauge or other cylinder status indication is visible when the gas cylinder and dispensing mechanism are placed in the container. The gas cylinder and container are suitable for shipment via commercial carrier.

  • Publication number: 20080078389
Abstract: A Heliox delivery system with positive pressure support is disclosed. The positive pressure support Heliox delivery system comprises at least two inlet ports, one of which is coupled to a source of Heliox gas and another coupled to a source of oxygen gas. The system further includes a gas blender, one or more control valves, a gas analyzer, an outlet port, a breathing circuit and a control unit. The control unit is adapted to operatively control both the gas blender to adjust the blending of oxygen and Heliox and the control valve to adjust the flow rate or pressure of the blended gas mixture in response to user inputs as well as the measured parameters from the gas analyzer, flow meters and associated sensors.

  • Publication number: 20080078385
Abstract: A Heliox based drug delivery system and method is disclosed. The disclosed system and method involves nebulizing the medication with a helium containing gas stream to form an aerosol stream, delivering the aerosol stream to the patient for inhalation during an aerosol phase, intermittently delivering an oxygen containing gas stream without medication to the patient for inhalation during an aerosol-free phase, and cycling between the aerosol phase and the aerosol-free phase to deliver medication to the patient while maintaining patient oxygenation in a prescribed range. The disclosed systems and methods farther include various positive pressure support techniques as well as thermal management of the aerosol phase and aerosol-free phase.

  • Publication number: 20070062585
Abstract: A gas cylinder dispensing valve having an internal flow path provided with a pressure regulator. An isolation valve is provided within the flow path between the pressure regulator and a gas inlet of the valve and a flow control valve is provided within the flow path between the pressure regulator and a gas outlet to discharge the gas. Both isolation valve and the flow control valve can be manipulated by a single control knob which when set in an off position closes the isolation valve. The control knob can be rotated from the off position to select discrete, calibrated flow rates or an auxiliary position in which gas may be dispensed at a regulated pressure from an auxiliary outlet port.

  • Publication number: 20050121025
Abstract: The invention relates to an inhaler comprising a compressed gas, such as Heliox gas in a first chamber which is in communication with an equalization chamber having pressure lower than the pressure of the gas in the first compressed chamber and having a drug storage chamber which is detachably coupled to the equalization chamber operable such that a portion of the compressed gas from the equalization chamber fluidizes and aerosolizes the drug to produce a drug cloud and which can then be injected into a spacer where it can be inhaled by a user.
