  • Publication number: 20240142273
Abstract: Described herein is a magnetic-field-based position determination device including a sensor device with at least two magnetic field sensors arranged spaced apart from each other by a distance and with a magnet movable relative to the sensor device. Each of the two magnetic field sensors is configured to measure the magnetic field emanating from the magnet in at least a first spatial direction and a different second spatial direction and, based thereon, to determine a magnetic field vector angle, respectively, wherein the first magnetic field sensor determines a first magnetic field vector angle, and wherein the second magnetic field sensor determines a second magnetic field vector angle. The sensor device is configured to determine the current position of the magnet relative to the sensor device based on the determined magnetic field vector angles and the distance of the two magnetic field sensors from each other.

  • Publication number: 20240133981
Abstract: A current sensor arrangement includes a first conductor structure extending in a first direction and configured to carry a first current along the first direction; a second conductor structure extending in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction and configured to carry a second current along the second direction; and a magnetic field sensor arranged between the first conductor structure and the second conductor structure and configured to receive a first magnetic field produced by the first current and a second magnetic field produced by the second current. The first conductor structure and the second conductor structure overlap with the magnetic field sensor in a third direction that is perpendicular to the first and second directions. The magnetic field sensor includes a first sensor element sensitive to the first magnetic field and a second sensor element sensitive to the second magnetic field.

  • Patent number: 11965756
Abstract: Implementations relate to a sensor assembly for determining rotation about an axis and linear movement parallel to the axis. The sensor assembly comprises a magnetic structure comprising a north pole radially displaced from the axis and a south pole radially displaced from the axis and opposite to the north pole. The north pole and the south pole of the magnet extend radially into the direction of the axis at an axial end of the sensor assembly. The sensor assembly further comprises at least one sensor element sensitive to magnetic fields radially between the north pole and the south pole.

  • Publication number: 20230017186
Abstract: Techniques for acquiring and processing data in combination with a photonic sensor system-on-a-chip (SoC) (1) to provide real-time calibrated concentration levels of an analyte (e.g., a constituent molecule within a biological substance) are described. A raw signal (1300) to be analyzed is collected by the sensor chip (1) via diffuse reflectance or transmittance. Determination of the analyte concentration is based on, in part, Beer-Lambert principles and facilitated by applying (2240) scattering correction to the raw signal (1300) prior to decomposition and analysis thereof.

  • Patent number: 9424332
Abstract: A system and method of determining an earliest delivery date for a demand on the basis of a fact table stored in a database, where the demand indicates both a desired date and a desired quantity for items from a stock, where a fact time series is comprised by and/or deducible from the fact table, and where the fact time series comprises fact tuples indicating both a fact date and a change in quantity of stock items that occurred on this fact date. The method includes generating an aggregated time series from the fact time series by defining and/or obtaining discrete time intervals, and generating, for at least one discrete time interval, an aggregated tuple indicating both its corresponding discrete time interval and the aggregated change in quantity of stock items that occurred in its corresponding discrete time interval.

  • Patent number: 8583539
Abstract: A message may be used to update computing system of a commodity transaction. The message may include a commodity identifier, a date term, a quantity term, and a price term. The price term may include a formula arrangement or reference to a formula arrangement for calculating a fractional exposure of the entity to the commodity on each date in which an event affecting commodity transaction occurs. Each of these fractional exposures may be calculated for each commodity transaction and stored as separate entries in a data structure. The entries may then be updated, queried, and/or reorganized to generate an exposure position.

  • Patent number: 8038932
Abstract: Cooling panels (31) are attached to the shell (11) of a metallurgical vessel to form an internal lining of the shell. Each panel (31) comprises a coolant flow tube (36) bent to form inner and outer panel sections (37, 38) of zig-zag formation. Panel mounting pins (43) connected to the outer panel section (38) by connector straps project laterally outwardly from the panel through openings (45) in the shell and tubular shell protrusions (46) surrounding the openings (45). The ends of pins (43) are connected to the outer ends of protrusions (46) by welding metal discs (47) thus forming connections exteriorly of the shell in a way which seals the openings (45). Coolant inlet and outlet connectors (42) for the panel project outwardly through openings (48) in the shell and surrounding tubular protrusions (49) and connections are made by welding discs (51) between the connectors (42) and protrusions (49).

  • Publication number: 20110055111
Abstract: Systems, methods, and articles for managing hedging agreement roll overs in forward securities transactions are provided. In an embodiment, a forward securities transaction business object records data relating to a hedging agreement as well as any subsequent roll over data. In an embodiment, the original hedging agreement data and the subsequent roll over data may be used in an embodiment to calculate the effectiveness of the hedging agreement to determine whether hedge accounting may be used to account for the hedging agreement. The data in the forward securities transaction business object may be used in some embodiments in other calculations as well, such as accounting calculations or rate of return calculations.
