  • Patent number: 7589165
Abstract: Polycarbonate resin containing small amounts of carbamate compounds is disclosed. The resin that contains at least one of compounds conforming to wherein R1 and R2 independently of one another denote hydrogen or C1-C12-alkyl, or together denote C4-C12-alkylidene, R3 and R4 independently of one another represent hydrogen, C1-C12-alkyl, or phenyl, or together with the carbon atom to which they are bonded form cyclohexyl or trimethylcyclohexyl, and R5 denotes hydrogen, C1-C12-alkyl, C5-C12-cycloalkyl, phenyl or cumyl, are characterized by their low electrostatic field and therefore suitable for making optical storage media.

  • Patent number: 7411375
Abstract: An apparatus for issuance of at least one electrical output signal (Iout), wherein the desired electrical current level of the output signal (Iout) is predeterminable, including: at least one measuring resistor, at which the electrical current level of the output signal (Iout) is measurable; at least one adjuster, via which the electrical current level of the output signal (Iout) is settable; and at least one controller, which compares the electrical current level of the output signal (Iout) measured at the measuring resistor with the electrical current level desired for the output signal (Iout), and which controls the electrical current level of the output signal (Iout) via the adjuster; wherein the controller and the measuring resistor are connected with an electric base-potential (VGND); and wherein the base-potential (VGND) is a reference potential for the controller.

  • Publication number: 20060232298
Abstract: A signal issuing unit for issuance of at least one electrical output signal. The signal issuing unit includes: At least one contact unit, which is embodied in such a manner that a digital electrical signal or an analog electrical signal can be issued by way of it; at least one multiplexer unit, which is embodied in such a manner that it transfers the electrical output signal onto the at least one contact unit; and at least one control unit for control of the multiplexer unit. Additionally, the invention relates to a measuring device having a signal issuing unit of the invention.

  • Patent number: 6853685
Abstract: For the electrically isolated transmission of digital signals, an isolating path of a channel formed by a transformer is used. The channel further includes a conversion stage for converting the digital signal to a transmissible coupling signal and a conversion stage for converting a coupling signal to the digital signal. This conversion is accomplished by a monostable multivibrator. The coupling signal is a square-wave voltage which is generated by a delay circuit in the conversion stage and is converted on the isolating path to a square-wave voltage serving as the coupling signal.
