  • Publication number: 20240132144
Abstract: A steering gear for an electromechanical steering system for a vehicle includes an input shaft that can be coupled or connected to a steering column of the steering system, a segment shaft that can be coupled or connected to a steering column lever of the steering system, an angular gear, a servo gear, and an electric motor for driving the servo gear. The angular gear is designed as a bevel gear. The input shaft and the electric motor are connected to the servo gear. The servo gear is connected to the angular gear. The angular gear is connected to the segment shaft. The angular gear is formed to transmit torque from the servo gear to the segment shaft via two transmission paths.

  • Publication number: 20240124049
Abstract: A steering transmission for an electro-mechanical steering system for a vehicle includes an electric motor, a servo transmission, and an angle transmission for connecting a steering column of the steering system to a control stalk of the steering system. The angle transmission is a mechanically driven recirculating-ball transmission with a ball nut, which is engaged with a segment shaft of the steering transmission that is/can be connected to the steering stalk. A spindle of the recirculating-ball transmission is continuous. The spindle is connected to an output shaft of the servo transmission on one side. The servo transmission is/can be driven by the electric motor.

  • Patent number: 11820238
Abstract: A current collector for a non-rail-bound, electric traction vehicle has an articulated support linkage, which, on the contact wire side, supports rocker assemblies with contact strips and, on the vehicle side, has a base joint for articulation to the traction vehicle. A pneumatic reciprocating drive is coupled to the support linkage for raising the rocker assemblies from a lower parking position into an upper contact position when the reciprocating drive is pressurized and for lowering into the parking position under its own weight when depressurization occurs. An exhaust air line connects the reciprocating drive to the environment to lower the rocker assemblies. An air accumulator and a downstream throttle valve are connected between the reciprocating drive and an environment opening of the exhaust air line. The rocker assemblies can be quickly lowered and nevertheless brought into the parking position without damage in order to disengage the current collector.

  • Patent number: 11238466
Abstract: A communications method is established enabling exposure notification, contact tracing and movement tracking by using Bluetooth or other nearby communications technology for communicating with nearby smartphones and mobile devices, and for data exchange both to alert participants of possible exposure to someone who they have recently been in contact with, and who has subsequently been positively diagnosed, or potentially diagnosed as having, a novel coronavirus or other highly contagious disease, and to trace and identify containers, packages, envelopes and other objects that may have been in contact with a person or object carrying or potentially carrying the virus or disease.

  • Publication number: 20210305961
Abstract: A method for reconfiguration of a vortex density in a rare earth manganate, to a non-volatile impedance switch having reconfigurable impedance, and to the use thereof as micro-inductance is disclosed. A unique voltage-time profile is applied between a first and a second electrically conductive contact attached to the rare earth manganate, such that the rare earth manganate passes through an ordering temperature in a region of an electric field forming between the two electrically conductive contacts during a cooling process during and after application of the voltage pulse or the voltage ramp, and the vortex density is thus influenced and adjusted locally in the region of the electric field forming between the two electrically conductive contacts.

  • Patent number: 10637932
Abstract: A communications network is established where devices are assigned either a static or random unique device identifier based on one or more of a broad variety of network, device or user-based attributes; where network devices, using a variable identification information (VII) software or firmware client, may authenticate and communicate directly with each other, based on such attributes within or outside of a specified zone; where network devices, using a sixth-sense technology (SST) software or firmware client to detect and discover such attributes, may communicate directly and privately with other targeted network devices; with the result that the network enables customized communications with targeted devices and assures a level of privacy and anonymity desired by either device.

  • Patent number: 9374397
Abstract: Systems, method and apparatus are provided for searching, sensing, discovering, screening, enabling awareness, alerting, sharing, sending, receiving, buying, selling, and otherwise transmitting stories, content, interests, data, goods and services among known and unknown devices in a communication network. Humans have a core desire to communicate and share with those around them—both nearby and around the globe—to enhance their individual, social and shared experiences. Social networks and related technologies have provided their subscribers with new technologies to share their stories with their friends and certain third-parties, but are limited in two crucial respects: they require prior membership, subscription or enrollment; and, in order to execute communications with friends and certain third parties, social networks require use of both (a) a user's existing contact information, and (b) the social network's platform.

  • Patent number: 6502458
Abstract: A method for checking the operational readiness of a valve determines at least one measured value for a valve-specific parameter and compares it with a previously fixed value. The measured value is determined in a cold and unpressurized state of the valve and is compared with a value that is determined analytically from a function model of the valve, for the valve-specific parameter. An upper and a lower limiting value which are fixed for this analytically determined value are assigned to states of the valve that are still tolerable (design reserve). It is indicated that the valve is operationally ready when the measured value is between the upper and the lower limiting value.
