Abstract: The invention relates to a control device (10a), comprising a housing unit (12a) and a circuit module (14a) which is arranged in the housing unit (12a) and has a circuit carrier (16a), at least one electric/electronic circuit unit (18a) mounted on the circuit carrier (16a) and at least one contact unit (20a) for the electric contact of the control device (10a) with other electric modules (22c). According to the invention, the housing unit (12a) comprises a protective compound which surrounds the circuit module (14a) leaving open at least one region (24a) that is enclosed by the protective composition, on which region the at least one contact unit (20a) is arranged.
