Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods and systems for remotely isolating and energizing distributed mechanical equipment in an industrial environment. The methods and systems disclosed herein are able to remotely and safely isolate the primary sources of energy in industrial environments (e.g. electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic) from mechanical equipment at a site from a single location. A method of installing a field isolation device for mechanical equipment in an industrial environment is also disclosed.
