Abstract: The invention relates to a computer-implemented method for generating an electronic document specification for structuring data from a given data-source comprising a plurality of elements. The method comprises at least the steps of clustering elements into information blocks according to a block-building criterion based on the data contained in and/or on the metadata associated to the elements of the data-source, storing the information defining each information block, for at least an information block and for each value of a first set, computing a probability for the value being associated to the information block, identifying the most probable value of the first block-metadatum set, associating a first block-metadatum to the information block, assigning the most probable value to a first value of the first block-metadatum, and storing the first value, and generating the electronic document specification for implementing the information block according to the first value.
