  • Publication number: 20250368272
Abstract: A lower dash for a motor vehicle that extends in a y-direction transversely to the direction of travel for the motor vehicle and separates a passenger compartment and a front compartment of the motor vehicle. The lower dash includes a partial bulkhead, an inner partial A-pillar arranged laterally with respect to the patrial bulkhead, and a side member front including a connector, each on the left and right sides in the vehicle direction. The inner partial A-pillar, the partial bulkhead, and the side member front arranged on the left side are designed as a one-piece part-lower dash made of die-cast light metal, and the inner partial A-pillar, the partial bulkhead, and side member front on the right side are designed as a one-piece part-lower dash made of die-cast light metal. The one-piece part-lower dash arranged on the left-hand and right-hand sides are connected to one another via a joining.

  • Publication number: 20250206385
Abstract: A front region of a passenger compartment of a motor vehicle, including two mutually opposing A-pillars, a bulkhead which delimits in a longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle, and a crossbeam. The crossbeam extends transversely with respect to the longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle from a first A-pillar of the mutually opposing A-pillars to a second A-pillar of the mutually opposing A-pillars. The crossbeam is supported or mounted exclusively on the mutually opposing A-pillars. The crossbeam is in a form of a die-cast component.

  • Publication number: 20250206384
Abstract: An instrument panel crossmember of a motor vehicle including a crossbeam. The crossbeam extends transversely to a longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle from an A pillar to an opposite A pillar. The crossbeam is adjoined in a direction of the vehicle front by a plate. At least one instrument opening configured for reception of an instrument is formed in the plate.

  • Publication number: 20250206386
Abstract: A dashboard crossbar of a motor vehicle, including a crossmember which extends transversely to a longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle from one A-pillar to an opposite A-pillar, the crossmember including end portions at two opposite ends thereof, and a support. The support is integrally connected to the end portions of the crossmember and protrudes towards a front of the vehicle in an arc, the crossmember and the support surrounding at least some regions of an extending panel. The crossmember, the support and the surrounded panel are formed integrally or together in one piece.

  • Patent number: 11883878
Abstract: A diecasting tool has an insert for producing a cooled motor housing. The diecasting tool has mould halves including: a stationary mould half; and movable mould half. One of the mould halves has a cylindrically extending annular gap having a central axis. The moveable mould half is arranged so as to be movable parallel to the central axis. The insert is arranged in the cylindrically extending annular gap. The insert is a bush. One end of the bush projects into a mould cavity, which is formed by the stationary mould half and the movable mould half, and is at least partially surrounded in a form-fitting manner by the casting material in a state when the casting material is cast.
