  • Patent number: 11795621
Abstract: A method for depositing, on a substrate, a composition of cellulosic fibers, includes preparing an aqueous suspension SA comprising at least cellulosic fibers, spraying, at a pressure no lower than 3 MPa, the aqueous suspension SA onto a substrate, wherein the spraying is carried out by means of a nozzle having a size between 0.05 mm and 3 mm, and obtaining a fibrous deposit DF on the substrate. The aqueous suspension SA includes at least 3% by weight of cellulosic fibers relative to the total weight of the aqueous suspension SA, and the aqueous suspension SA and the fibrous deposit DF have dry matter with identical composition.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 18, 2020
Date of Patent: October 24, 2023
    Assignee: KADANT LAMORT

  • Patent number: 11203043
Abstract: A device for separating the constituents of a fluid medium includes an element for separating the constituents, helping to define, upstream and/or downstream from the separation element, a closed chamber, to which at least one conduit is connected. The conduit includes at least one activatable sealing device, the activation of which is capable of at least partially closing and opening the conduit. The device also includes a controller for the activation of the sealing device, controlling the closing and opening, at least partially, of the conduit cyclically, at a frequency greater than 0.008 Hz.

  • Patent number: 10486168
Abstract: The serial multistage flotation process for eliminating hydrophobic particles from a stream of materials to be treated includes a step of introducing into one stage a layer of materials to be treated, originating either from a higher state or directly from the inlet of the system. There is an aeration step in which air extracted from the lower stages is mixed, diffused and dispersed in the layer of materials to be treated then escapes to the higher stage or to a foam discharge zone. After the aeration step, there is a deaeration step in which air is no longer introduced into the layer of materials to be treated before the departure thereof from one stage and that enables the discharge of the dispersed air to the higher stages or in the case of the highest stage to foam discharge zone. There is also a step of recovering the deaerated material.

  • Patent number: 7281631
Abstract: The cell includes an enclosure having, at the top, a main inlet for the pulp to be de-inked and, at the bottom, a main outlet for the de-inked pulp. The pulp from the top to the bottom, passes through successive stages provided with bubble passageways introduced into the lower portion of the enclosure, and the bubbles rise to the top, to form a foam. The cell includes pulp a guiding mechanism forming a guiding path and in which the bubble passageways are provided for. The guiding mechanisms are, on their lower face, inclined upwards in order to guide the bubbles towards the bubble passageways.

  • Publication number: 20040232053
Abstract: The cell comprises an enclosure (2) including, at the top, a main inlet (3) for the pulp to be de-inked and, at the bottom, a main outlet (4) for the de-inked pulp. The pulp from the top to the bottom, passing through successive stages (E1, . . . En) provided with bubble passageways (13) introduced into the lower portion of the enclosure, the bubbles raising until the top, to form a foam (5). The cell includes pulp guiding means (12) forming guiding path and in which the bubble passageways (13) are provided for, these guiding means (12) being, on their lower face, inclined upwards in order to guide the bubbles (14) towards the bubble passageways.
