  • Patent number: 10173539
Abstract: A battery charging system for cablelessly charging a battery includes a primary-side charging unit as a primary side, a secondary-side charging unit as a secondary side, a transformer having a primary-side winding as part of the primary side and a secondary-side winding as part of the secondary side, one controller on the primary side and one controller on the secondary side, one voltage sensor on the primary side and one voltage sensor on the secondary side, one current sensor on the primary side and one current sensor on the secondary side, one communication unit on the primary side and one communication unit on the secondary side, and one direct current converter provided on the primary side only.

  • Patent number: 9608530
Abstract: A circuit configuration contains a resonant converter feeding energy into a primary winding of a transformer, a control circuit for controlling the resonant converter and a plurality of modules. The modules include a frequency generator controllable with variable frequency, a short circuit monitoring unit configured to protect components of the resonant converter, and an open circuit detection unit. The open circuit detection unit is configured to shut down the resonant converter if a secondary side interacting with the primary winding of the transformer is open circuit, without having information from the secondary side.

  • Patent number: 9343987
Abstract: A method and an activation circuit for frequency generation for a resonance converter that is driven by a half bridge or a full bridge. An activation circuit with a controller excites a resonance circuit belonging to the resonance converter. The power, current or voltage of the resonance converter is controlled via the frequency. The controller activates a programmable variable clock generator via a first interface. The frequency dividers able to be programmed via a second interface create the operating frequency of the half bridge or full bridge by dividing the frequency of a clock generator into different duty cycles. The frequency of the clock generator amounts to a multiple of the bridge frequency, and the second clock generator and thereby the H-bridge frequency of the resonance converter is independent of the first clock generator which supplies the controller.

  • Patent number: 8688291
Abstract: A vehicle control system for data exchange in a transport system, where a control unit is configured to transfer control commands to a vehicle configured to transfer status messages to the control unit, where a signal generator is connected to a first data line and a second data line and provides a changeover signal, a first switching means is arranged in the control unit and is configured to change positive half-waves of the changeover signal, and a second switching means is arranged in the vehicle and is configured to change negative half-waves of the changeover signal, in a circuit formed by the first and second data lines to transfer binary values back-and-forth between the control unit and the vehicle.
