  • Patent number: 12152318
Abstract: A method for manufacturing an artificial turf fiber includes creating a polymer mixture that includes, 60-99% by weight of an LLDPE polymer and 1-15% by weight of an LDPE polymer. The method further includes extruding the polymer mixture into a monofilament; quenching the monofilament; reheating the monofilament; and stretching the reheated monofilament to form the monofilament into the artificial turf fiber.

  • Patent number: 12134687
Abstract: The invention relates to a polymer-based artificial turf fiber comprising substances (216) adapted for protecting the fiber against UV radiation. The substances comprise a hindered amine light stabilizer—HALS and a first and a second UV-absorbent substance. The molecular weights of the first and the second UV-absorbent substances differ from each other by at least 100 g/mol.

  • Publication number: 20230121577
Abstract: Therapeutic methods and compositions for the in utero or postnatal treatment of diseases associated with alternative splicing are provided. Compositions of the disclosure include delivery nanoparticles with an inner region surrounded by a nucleic acid scaffolding that is, in turn, linked to therapeutic agents that promote healthy mRNA splicing phenotypes in fetal cells when the compositions are delivered to a fetus in utero or in a patient after birth.

  • Patent number: 10355491
Abstract: An inverter for converting DC power of a generator into grid-conforming AC power includes an inverter bridge circuit and a scanning circuit configured to trace at least one part of a characteristic curve of the generator to determine an MPP power value (PMPP). The scanning circuit is configured, in the case of a derating to a derated power (Pred), to trigger a tracing of the characteristic curve with provision of a first power profile deviating from the derated power (Pred) if an enable signal is present at the inverter, and to indicate a start and an end of the tracing by outputting a start signal and an end signal, respectively. The scanning circuit is further configured to provide a second power profile as AC power upon receiving a start signal, wherein the first power profile has a deviation from the derated power (Pred) with a sign that is opposite to a sign of a deviation of the second power profile from the derated power (Pred).

  • Patent number: 9654016
Abstract: A converter includes a converter inductor, a converter diode, and a converter switch, wherein the converter inductor, the converter diode and the converter switch operate together to receive an input voltage and generate a converted output voltage. The converter further includes a bypass circuit that is connected in parallel with the converter switch; the bypass circuit includes a bypass capacitor connected in series with a diode, wherein a forward direction of the diode is the same as a regular direction of current flow through the converter switch. The converter also includes a discharge circuit configured to discharge the bypass capacitor, wherein the discharge circuit includes an inductor. The inductor of the discharge circuit is magnetically coupled to the converter inductor.
