Abstract: The invention relates to a method for supporting the mobility of a subscriber across a communication system comprising a communication terminal which is associated with a first communication device and can be registered when a log-on procedure is initiated by the input of log-on information relating to the subscriber, a second communication device for providing configuration data of the subscriber, and a packet-oriented network by which means the communication terminal is connected to the first and second communication devices. Once a successful registration has been carried out, the communication terminal is logged off the first communication device and associated with the second communication device.

The data representing the graphic information is stored in the communication device and is transmitted to the stationary communication terminal. Representation of the graphic information, especially a company logo, occurs on an output unit associated with the communication terminal.

Abstract: The invention concerns a method and a device for requesting subscriber communication to a communication system. Said communication system comprises a communication terminal having a first transmission/reception unit for a radio interface and a portable device having a second transmission/reception unit for the radio interface, for data exchange. Data concerning an authentication of the subscriber are exchanged through the radio interface. Once authentication is successfully completed, the subscriber request for communication with the communication system is granted.

Abstract: A system allows a user who uses a portable communications device (for example, a cell phone or PDA) to answer telephone calls to use service features (for example, call forwarding) that are available on a communications system (for example, a corporate communications system), even though the portable device is not a part of the communications system. A transceiver in the telephone establishes a wireless link with a transceiver in a local communications device (for example, a workstation) of the communications system. The user then causes a transfer instruction to pass over the wireless link to the local communications device. This instruction causes the communications connection to be transferred to the local communications device such that the local communications device can be used to handle the call. After the transfer, service features available on the communications system are available to service the call.

Abstract: A communication system has several communication devices, several communication terminals and a communication network connecting the communication terminals to the communication devices. A first address for a connection to a home communication device assigned to a specific communication terminal and a second address for a connection to an alternate communication device is stored in the communication terminals in each case. At least one terminal profile included in the terminal-relevant data is stored to which the second address can assign different communication terminals accessing the alternate communication device.
