  • Patent number: 11945292
Abstract: An electric drive axle of a vehicle with a parking lock and with at least one electric drive with a drive gear of a drive shaft. The drive gear is coupled via at least one intermediate gear of an intermediate shaft to an output gear of a differential gear unit for driving at least one output shaft. For decoupling the electric drive, at least one claw shift element is associated with the drive shaft and/or with the intermediate shaft in such a way that the claw shift element is arranged upstream of the parking lock in power flow direction from electric drive to differential gear unit.

  • Patent number: 8485144
Abstract: An internal combustion engine includes a cylinder block and a cylinder head, with at least one first cooling jacket (1) being arranged in the cylinder block and at least one second cooling jacket (2) being arranged in the cylinder head, and a cooling fluid can flow through the cooling jackets (1, 2) substantially in the longitudinal direction of the internal combustion engine, and with both the cylinder block and the cylinder head having separate inflows (6, 8) and outlets (7, 9) for the cooling fluid which communicate with the respective cooling jacket (1, 2) in the cylinder block and cylinder head. In order to ensure even cooling especially of thermally loaded regions of the cylinder head, at least one flow transfer (10, 11) is arranged between the first cooling jacket (1) of the cylinder block and the second cooling jacket (2) of the cylinder head.

  • Patent number: 7819218
Abstract: In a motor vehicle, a deflecting device (11) for an offset frontal collision for the motor vehicle is arranged in front of a front wheel (6). In order, in the event of a collision, to safely pivot the front wheel inward, the deflecting device (11) forms a kinematic chain, the coupling link of which is a deflector (12) which, under the action of a frontal impact, is pivoted to the rear and is displaced toward the outside of the vehicle. The kinematic chain is a slider crank mechanism comprising a swinging arm (13) which is pivotable about a bearing (14), a further bearing (16), a sliding guide (16) and the coupling link (12) which is connected to the outer end of the swinging arm at a pivot point (15) and is guided in the further bearing (16).

  • Patent number: 7610983
Abstract: A method for damage limitation in the event of an offset frontal collision between two motor vehicles, with a first signal which signals an imminent collision triggering the steerable front wheels (9, 10) to turn inward in opposite directions, is to minimize the impact-induced yaw moment. To this end, the steerable wheels are moved back to the initial position again after the collision or if the collision has not taken place at all. To this end, two actuators (17?, 17?) with an external power source are provided in the case of a vehicle which is equipped for this purpose, with each actuator being associated with a steerable wheel (9, 10).

  • Patent number: 7438151
Abstract: A method for damage limitation in a partially overlapping frontal collision of two motor vehicles involves a signal indicating the start of a collision or an imminent collision causing the steerable front wheels (9, 10) to be turned in such a manner that the wheel plane (34) of the collision-side wheel (9) intersects the vertical longitudinal central plane (33) of the vehicle at a point (36) in front of said vehicle. For this purpose, a connecting element (17) provides for the rapid build up of pressure in the steering device (13-16), and, in the event of a collision, the connecting element (17) acts on the steering device (13-16) in such a manner that at least the collision-side front wheel (9) is turned in a positive direction.

  • Publication number: 20040266858
Abstract: The present invention describes a stable, acidic, aqueous solution of &agr;-lipoic acid or derivatives thereof. A content of the lipoic acid component employed which is above the intrinsic solubility thereof in the aqueous solution is achieved preferably by a production method in which in a first stage a stock solution of the lipoic acid component in water is provided with the aid of a base, then this stock solution is brought where appropriate by dilution and temperature control into the desired concentration range and temperature range, and finally the desired pH of the solution is adjusted by adding an acid. The solution obtained inter alia in this way is, owing to its stable properties, outstandingly suitable for use for pharmaceutical, cosmetic, dietary or else technical purposes, for example for diminishing photochemical effects.
