  • Publication number: 20230305171
Abstract: A method for a sequence of geographic location measurements of a tracer. The method includes: obtaining the sequence, ordered as a function of time of measurernent; for an indexed measurement of the sequence, partitioning all the measurements in two ordered sets, the indexed measurement being either the last measurement of the first set or the first measurement of the second set; calculating statistical data for the first and second sets; calculating a distance between the sets as a function of a distance between the statistical data of the sets; determining a maximum distance among the distances for the set; the statistical datum of the first set defined for the indexed measurement associated with the maximum difference corresponding to a first position of the tracer and the statistical datum of the second set defined for the indexed measurement associated with the maximum distance corresponding to a second position of the tracer.

  • Publication number: 20140282154
Abstract: A method for processing a compound gesture, made by a user using a pointing tool on a sensitive pad of a terminal. The terminal has a screen for reproducing a graphical representation of a sequence of selectable graphical elements and a module for processing and interpreting an interaction with the sensitive pad according to a mode selected from a default, relative-positioning mode of sequential interaction and an absolute-positioning mode of graphical interaction. During execution of the gesture by the user, on detection of static pointing to a spatial position on the sensitive pad during a predetermined period of time, the module toggles to the absolute-positioning mode of graphical interaction. When the pointing position is situated a distance below a threshold from a graphical element displayed on the screen, the module selects the graphical element, without the pointing tool being raised, then toggles to the relative-positioning mode of sequential interaction.
