Abstract: The invention relates to a method of manufacturing a sealing gasket, in particular a hidden frame type window run for a motor vehicle, the method consisting in placing in the gasket that is made from thermoplastic materials, at least one anti-shrinkage element that is placed in a position that is determined so as to obtain automatically and naturally a gasket that is curved after it has been extruded and has cooled down, and the method further consisting in acting on the shrinkage ability of the materials constituting the gasket in order to obtain varying amounts of curvature.

Abstract: A sealing gasket for mounting on a support that is to receive it, in particular on a motor vehicle door, the support presenting at least one corner of small radius of curvature, the gasket comprising at least a flexible or semi-rigid fixing portion fixed to its support by an adhesive, and an elastically-deformable tubular portion for providing sealing, wherein once the gasket has been mounted on its support, the elastically-deformable portion is such that in said corner of the support, its right section is subjected to deformation that occupies an area that lies substantially within the area occupied by the right section of the gasket when in the free state.

Abstract: The invention provides a weatherstrip forming a motor vehicle window slideway, the weatherstrip including at least one reinforced clip of channel section with a web and two substantially parallel jaws, and being suitable for fitting onto a flange of the frame of a window opening of the vehicle, wherein the strip is made of a rigid thermoplastic material, and wherein the reinforcing means of the clip are situated either solely in the jaws, or solely in the web of the clip.

Abstract: The invention provides a weatherstrip forming a slideway for a motor vehicle window, the strip comprising at least a fixing portion in the form of a channel-section clip suitable for engaging on a flange of the frame of a window opening of the vehicle, and a portion for supporting sealing lips that are suitable for coming into sliding contact with a sliding window pane, wherein the fixing portion and the portion for supporting sealing lips are both made of rigid thermoplastic material without any reinforcing means being present.
