    Abstract: The present disclosure refers to an apparatus for feeding an infant animal has in one embodiment a nipple combination comprising a one-way valve engaged with the proximal end of the tube of a nipple, and an open rather than self-sealing nipple aperture. A self-sealing nipple aperture is obviated by the one-way valve in the distal end of the tube of the nipple.
