  • Publication number: 20060189731
Abstract: The present invention relates to stabilizing compositions for chlorine containing polymers and resins, which are free from metals, and which contained at least one or more hydrazide compounds of formula (I) and at least one co-stabiliser.
    Type: Application
    Filed: July 8, 2004
    Publication date: August 24, 2006

  • Publication number: 20060175728
Abstract: The invention relates to a process aid for use in rigid thermoplastic compositions, and especially in rigid polyvinylchloride (PVC) compositions. The process aid is an acrylic terpolymer of methylmethacrylate, butyl acrylate and styrene at an optimal ratio to produce a significant reduction in melt process viscosity. The resulting reduction in extrusion melt torques enables manufacturers of rigid PVC products to have higher throughput production rates.

    Filed: February 8, 2005
    Publication date: August 10, 2006
Inventors: Mark Lavach, Paul Lavallee, Jason Pomante, Wayne Ranbom, Lisa Rachwal, Stephane Girois
  • Patent number: 6156832
Abstract: The invention relates to a composition containing organotin maleates such as is obtained by reacting a mixture of a low molecular weight alcohol or epoxyalkane and of a high molecular weight alcohol or epoxyalkane with maleic anhydride and by then bringing the mixture thus obtained into contact with a dialkyltin oxide. The invention also relates to poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) composition stabilized and lubricated using the said composition based on organotin maleates and also to the extruded rigid objects formed from the said PVC compositions.
    Type: Grant
