  • Patent number: 8065948
Abstract: A protection device to close the gun slit (or opening) of a mount, such gun slit delimited by two lateral flanges and two end flanges and in which pivots or moves a mobile organ carrying a mobile wall positioned between the exterior and interior of the mount, device which comprises at least one flexible bellows integral on one side with an end flange of the gun slit and on the other with the mobile organ (3), such device wherein the bellows and wall delimit an intermediate chamber that is linked to the internal space (10) of the mount, such space being pressurized by pressurization means.

  • Patent number: 7603221
Abstract: An automatic slowing down system for a vehicle taking a bend includes a computer that integrates a series of instructions to process at least one of first, second and third signals according to kinematic control laws of vehicle displacement to deliver signals for a forward motion actuator and a steering actuator, a forward control and a steering control that supply the first signal representative of a forward motion data and a steering data to the computer based on an operator's requirement, a linear speed sensor and a yaw speed sensor that supply the second signal to the computer, and a unit that supplies the third signal relating to road grip to the computer.

  • Publication number: 20070092379
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of manufacturing a composite turbomachine blade, the method comprising the following steps: a) making a preform by three-dimensionally weaving yarns including tracer yarns disposed at least at the surface of the preform; b) cutting out said preform so as to leave intact a series of tracer yarns situated along a reference face of the preform; c) pre-deforming said cut-out preform; d) compacting and stiffening said pre-deformed preform; e) providing an injection mold in which said stiffened preform is placed; f) heating said injection mold; g) injecting a binder into said injection mold, the binder comprising a thermosettable resin; and h) extracting from the mold a composite molded part presenting substantially the shape and the dimensions of said blade. The invention is applicable to a making fan blade.

  • Publication number: 20050246895
Abstract: Method of manufacturing a hollow blade (1) for a turbomachine in which the blade (1) is made from a preform (14) obtained from external primary parts (28, 30). In order to reduce costs, the root part (2) of the blade is formed from spare material (34) entirely located on only one of the two external primary parts of the preform (14).

  • Publication number: 20050002786
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of manufacturing a single-piece hollow fan blade for turbine engines comprising a foot (2) extended by a rotor blade (4) in a radial direction, the method comprising the following stages: making via forging of a single-piece fan blade (1) with a plurality of inserts; and eliminating of the inserts so as to obtain a plurality of recesses (16) in this blade. The invention also relates to such a blade (1) fitted with a plurality of recesses (16) each extending substantially and radially along a curved central line (18).
