Abstract: Provided are home and personal care compositions comprising a cationic hydrophobically modified galactomannan ether and a silicone, where the cationic hydrophobically modified galactomannan ether have a cationic degree of substitution (DScat) from 0.01 to 0.5 and a hydrophobic degree of substitution (DSH) from 0.00001 to less than 0.001 These compositions provide a benefit to hair, skin or fabric onto which they have been applied. Benefits may include softness, level of silicone deposition and ease of detangling.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a controlled release carrier system that can be incorporated into rinse-off application products containing at least one surfactant such as heavy duty liquids (HDL), Rinse Cycle Fabric Softeners (RCFS), Shampoos, Hair Conditioners, Shower Gels, cleansing products, and that enhance deposition of lipophilic active materials like fragrance, fine perfumes, flavours and other volatile compounds onto a surface. Abstract: The invention relates to oil-in-water emulsions, methods of making said emulsions and their uses in fabric care or hair care compositions. The fabric care composition comprises a silicone oil-in-water emulsion which emulsion is obtained by a. forming an oil phase by mixing at least one silicone compound with at least one silicone-free oil, b. optionally adding an emulsifier, c. adding water, d. forming an oil-in-water emulsion.
