  • Publication number: 20230166005
Abstract: A filler implant includes a support of hybrid heterogeneous hydrogel which is formed by a copolymer including: a dendrimer monomer which is functionalised by an ethylene radical, an acryl amide compound which is selected from an N-substituted methacrylamide and N-substituted acrylamide, a cross-linking agent and a bioactive copolymerisable material. The support is formed by microbeads which have a diameter between 1.5 micrometres and 10 micrometres and it predominantly contains by weight the acrylamide compound. The microbeads are assembled to form aggregates which contain between 5 and 50 microbeads. The aggregates are connected by cross-linking points in order to define a penetrating porous network which defines three-dimensional percolating paths. The penetrating porous network is formed by pores, the majority of the volume of which has a diameter between 10 and 30 micrometres. The support has a viscoelastic nature with a modulus of elasticity between 1 and 200 kPa.

  • Patent number: 7569222
Abstract: The invention disclosed is a hydrogel composition for use as dural substitute, for wound closure of cleft palate and regeneration, and as substrate for cell delivery to the eye. The hydrogel is made of a copolymer of (a) an N-substituted (meth)acrylamide, and (b) a hydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylate, which is covalently crosslinked with dimethacrylate monomers. The swollen gel is in the form of a sheet or membrane that is readily sterilisable, being homogeneous or heterogeneous, non-degradable, non resorbable, elastically deformable, and has an equilibrium water content of at least 50%.

  • Patent number: 5863551
Abstract: The hydrogel is a copolymer of an N-substituted methacrylamide or acrylamide, a cross-linking agent and a complex sugar or derivative, a tissue adhesion peptide or a polymer conjugate with antibodies, the polymer being heterogeneous, elastically deformable and having an equilibrium water content of at least about 80%. It can be used for tissue regeneration and for organ repair, for example, in the developing and adult nervous system.
