  • Patent number: 10097543
Abstract: A computer apparatus is remotely initiated. Confirmation of a detected and authenticated presence of a user remote from the computer apparatus is detected and confirmed via a wireless network. Booting of the computer apparatus is initiated based on receiving confirmation of the detected and authenticated presence of the user remote from the computer apparatus. The computer apparatus is booted in a protected workstate that prevents access to the computer apparatus while the user is remote and until a local presence of the user is detected and authenticated. The computer apparatus is operable to be unprotected upon confirmation of the local presence of the user. The computer apparatus is also operable to be accessible to the user upon unprotecting the workstate of the computer apparatus.

  • Patent number: 9363264
Abstract: A computer apparatus is remotely initiated. Confirmation of a detected and authenticated presence of a user is detected and confirmed remote from the computer apparatus. A dedicated resource that will be implemented using the computer apparatus is logged in in a protected workstate that prevents access to the computer apparatus until a local presence of the user is detected and authenticated. The workstate of the computer apparatus is unprotected upon confirmation of the local presence of the user. Access to the user is allowed upon unprotecting the workstate of the computer apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20140132747
Abstract: A digital intra-oral panoramic arch camera can provide a single panoramic image easily taken by one person. The intra-oral panoramic arch camera can save clinical time and improve accuracy for treatment planning. The intra-oral panoramic arch camera includes a plurality of image capturing devices and a plurality of lamps, such as light emitting diodes, for providing sufficient lighting for capturing the image. The intra-oral panoramic arch camera can include adjustable positioning arms to adjust the individual cameras to the correct positioning depending on the patient's oral structure.

  • Patent number: 8170196
Abstract: A method, software and system of developing personalities for interactive and/or automated call center applications are provided. According to teachings of the present invention, sample population questionnaires and interviews may be used to identify key personality traits. The impact of the identified key personality traits are then empirically determined. Based on the empirical determination of the key personality traits' impact on customer satisfaction, a plurality of personality profiles may be generated for evaluation. A plurality of application types and voice talents may then be employed to evaluate the impact of each personality profile on customer satisfaction, for different user populations and different types of automated systems. The personality traits for each automated system are preferably rated and reviewed to ensure a system accurately represents the identified key personality traits.
