  • Patent number: 10984579
Abstract: A system and method of playing back 3D animations includes receiving user selection of a 3D file that contains animation parameters of an animated 3D model such as a preset animation or an embedded customized animation and inserting the animated 3D model into a 2D display canvas while preserving the animation parameters of the animated 3D model described in the 3D file. The animated 3D model is played and paused on the 2D display canvas under user control independent of a main thread that enables interaction with and editing of other content besides the animated 3D model in the 2D display. User adjustment of animation parameters of the animated 3D model during playback are received and the animated 3D model with the received user adjusted animation parameters are presented to the 2D display canvas on a display device.

  • Patent number: 10878619
Abstract: A system is provided that allows a user to visualize data. A dataset that includes a plurality of data items arranged in a two-dimensional (2D) format is received. A request to visualize the dataset in three dimensions is then received. A three-dimensional (3D) visualization of the dataset is then generated based on this request. This 3D visualization adds a third dimension to the 2D arrangement of data items, where the extent of the third dimension is commensurate with the type and value of the data items. This 3D visualization includes an initial depiction of the dataset which is generated from a point of view that is specified by this request. The initial depiction of the dataset is then displayed on a display device of the system in lieu of the dataset itself.

  • Patent number: 5709431
Abstract: A seat cover (1) for protecting a motor vehicle seat (14) comprises a front layer (2) extending over and protecting the seating (24) of the seat cushion (23) and the backrest surface (26) of the backrest (25) of the seat. The seat cover (1) has a rear layer (3) connected with the front layer by transverse welding (4, 5) and together with the front layer (2) forming a first pocket (12) for the reception of at least a part of the backrest (25). The front layer (2) on the one hand and the rear layer (3) on the other hand are separate foils (28, 31) connected to each other by a longitudinal welding (6) also. The foil (28) forming the front layer (2) consists of coextruded plastic material having a high friction coefficient on the one surface (30) and a comparatively low friction coefficient on the other surface (29).

  • Patent number: 4681785
Abstract: The invention concerns a supply roll for protective covers, especially those made out of sheet plastic, for motor-vehicle seats, wherein the covers can be separated at a perforation and are attached to each other across their length in a long web and folded over at the ends to form pockets that can be pulled out over the backrest or forward edge of the seat and the overall web is folded longitudinally between the seat and backrest components and finally wound into a supply roll, wherein in accordance with the invention the winding density of supply roll of wound seat covers is kept constant over its whole width by introducing a supporting fold.
