  • Publication number: 20220292474
Abstract: Payments for administration of health care are processed via a network linking the patients, providers, employers and insurers. A notification of a health care service administered to a patient identifies an expense associated with the health care service. The expense is adjusted by a fee derived from a base and/or one or more percentages via an insurance plan parameter. Based on the expense and a parameter defined by the patient's insurance plan, a division of the expense among a patient account and an employer account is automatically determined, resulting in a patient portion of the adjusted expense and an employer portion. A representation of a patient bill, indicating the patient portion, is then transmitted to a patient device. The patient account is then automatically updated in response to receipt of payment of the patient portion indicated on the patient bill.

  • Publication number: 20210015420
Abstract: A computer based method and system forms measurements of brain function and predictions of a likelihood for memory impairment via the use of cameras, including a near-infrared (NIR) spectroscopic device and a camera capturing images in the Red-Green-Blue (RGB) spectrum. The device acquires from a subject measurements of ions, molecules, or combinations thereof at more than one moment in time, as well as amplitude and timing of blood pulsations. Based on the measured molecule or ion concentration, flow, and so forth, a processor assesses the probability of a neuron to form an action potential. Formation of an action potential increases the probability that the subject individual will create a memory.

  • Patent number: 9824446
Abstract: A computer-based method and system assists users performing medical imaging studies, such as echocardiograms. While the user manipulates the imaging device on an individual, the system automates image processing, relieving the user from the need to simultaneously operate an application and an imaging device. The system assesses an organ system, then through comparison with other imaging data sets, generates an evaluative assessment of the organ system. The system becomes increasingly image-aware and content-aware during an evaluation, and by sequential comparisons against progressive data sets, refines an evaluative assessment.

  • Publication number: 20160022155
Abstract: The present invention relates to computer-based methods for evaluating an individual's cardiovascular system and computer systems for use in such methods. The computer system recognizes a portion of the individual's cardiovascular system though an imaging device input, then assesses the cardiac power, energy and efficiency during the cardiac cycle. The computer system evaluates circulatory motion and properties of circulatory fluid, and further optimizes the cardiovascular analysis through suggested repositioning of the imaging device.
