Abstract: The disclosed systems and method disclose sizing and fit tools for apparel, headwear, and footwear that rely on virtual models. The virtual models are created from body scans of multiple human models. One or more of the body scans can be spliced at a splicing location. The systems and methods determine a body measurement for the body scan(s) at the splicing location. The spliced body scan(s) are compiled to create a virtual model. The virtual model can additionally be based on body shape of the body scans or the spliced body scans. Some example systems and methods also generate fit data based on the virtual model and optionally a garment size.

Abstract: A front-close bra support harness offers adjustable compression for additional support to the user. The front-close bra support harness is layered or added on top of any article of apparel including bras, sports bras, swimwear, lingerie, or any top worn over the breast area. The harness having a variable compression effect around the circumference of the under-breast area, the shoulder area, and support around a portion of the outer-side breast and bottom area of the breast that is specially designed for compressing or tightening around the lower breast, side breast area, and around the rib area of the torso. The contoured material panel around each breast is located at the side and bottom portion of the breast and is coupled to a shoulder strap, a back panel, and an under-breast panel that is secured at the center front area by an adjustable closure mechanism.

Abstract: A pair of tights specially designed for the wearer to self-adjust the waist for fit, adjust compression, adjust for waist training, adjust lower abdominal support, and adjust lower lumbar back support. The localized compression effect is configured and adjusted by a textile piece attached at the left side area of the back waistband that can cross the front of the abdomen to the left and a textile piece attached at the right-side area of the back waistband that can cross the front of the abdomen to the right. The two textile pieces that cross the body are anchored from the opposite side areas of the waistband creating a compression and opposite horizontal pull across the back and can be adjusted to attach across the front of the body. The configuration of the waistband and adjustable textile pieces allows a wearer to self adjust the fit.

The harness straps slide through openings in shoulder straps of the body. The harness straps are then laced through a series of maintainers in the back of the body. The harness straps having terminally-located tabs that may be pulled from the back of the body toward the front of the body and affixed thereto. The placement of the tabs, when pulled toward the front of the body and attached thereto, determines the fit and support of the garment. By manipulating the tabs of the harness system, a wearer may adjust the length of the harness straps, back and posture support, and the lift provided by the liner. The harness system creates a customizable fit and support level.
