Abstract: The invention relates to a communication system for an automobile, that comprises: a receiver (R) housed in the automobile (1), said receiver (R) having at least two reception channels (C1, C2), each channel (C1, C2) being capable of receiving a piece of information transmitted at a predetermined radio frequency (f1, f2); at least one transmitter (E1, E2) capable of transmitting at least a piece of information. According to the invention, the transmitter is capable of transmitting said information at at least one of the two frequencies (f1, f2) that can be received by said reception channels (C1, C2) of said receiver (R).
