Abstract: The present disclosure discusses a method of separating a sample of tyrosine kinase inhibitors or metabolites of tyrosine kinase inhibitors which includes injecting the sample into the chromatographic system having one or more low-bind coated surfaces along the flow path; flowing the sample through the chromatographic system; separating the sample; and analyzing the separated sample. Consequently, the sample does not bind to the low-binding surface coatings (e.g., alkylsilyl coatings) of the flow path. The applied coating can reduce peak tailing and decrease carryover for tyrosine kinase inhibitor samples during chromatographic analysis.

One value ThCH of the thermal conductivity is measured at 70° C. above ambient and the other value ThCL of the thermal conductivity is measured at 50° C. above ambient. Abstract: An energy meter for measuring parameters of fuel gas. The meter has a gas inlet and outlet and a central tube along which the gas flows from inlet to outlet. Ultra-sound transducers and a control form a system whereby the speed of ultra-sound signals traveling through the gas between the transducers is measured and used in the control to calculate the volume of gas which is passed through the meter. The ultra-sound signals pass through apertures in the walls of chambers containing the transducers. Another ultra-sound transducer in the chamber which is connected to the control acts as an emitter and receiver of ultra-sound signals reflected by reflectors. These signals travel through the fuel gas in the chamber and their attenuation is observed and measured by the control when they are received by the transducer. The measured attenuation is used to derive the calorific value and/or Wobbe index of the gas.

Abstract: A chordal action isolation wheel assembly for reduction of noise in track-laying vehicles by using a pendulous isolation wheel to isolate chordal track forces from a smaller drive sprocket. The drive sprocket is mounted on a drive shaft and one end of a pendulous arm is rotatably connected to the drive shaft. The isolation wheel is rotatably mounted on the other end of the pendulous arm and an endless track is trained about both the isolation wheel and the drive sprocket with only a small portion of the periphery of the drive sprocket contacting the endless track. The larger diameter of the isolation wheel causes a gentle lowering of the endless track onto the drive sprocket to reduce the force transmitted to the sprocket wheel and reduced noise. Chordal impacts of the track shoes occur against the isolation wheel, and the resulting vibrational energy is absorbed by the pendulous action of the isolation wheel assembly.
