  • Patent number: 11994857
Abstract: A system and method for operation of an autonomous vehicle (AV) yard truck is provided. A processor facilitates autonomous movement of the AV yard truck, and connection to and disconnection from trailers. A plurality of sensors are interconnected with the processor that sense terrain/objects and assist in automatically connecting/disconnecting trailers. A server, interconnected, wirelessly with the processor, that tracks movement of the truck around and determines locations for trailer connection and disconnection. A door station unlatches/opens rear doors of the trailer when adjacent thereto, securing them in an opened position via clamps, etc. The system computes a height of the trailer, and/or if landing gear of the trailer is on the ground and interoperates with the fifth wheel to change height, and whether docking is safe, allowing a user to take manual control, and optimum charge time(s). Reversing sensors/safety, automated chocking, and intermodal container organization are also provided.

  • Patent number: 11977766
Abstract: A hierarchical network enables access for a stacked memory system including or more memory dies that each include multiple memory tiles. The processor die includes multiple processing tiles that are stacked with the one or more memory die. The memory tiles that are vertically aligned with a processing tile are directly coupled to the processing tile and comprise the local memory block for the processing tile. The hierarchical network provides access paths for each processing tile to access the processing tile's local memory block, the local memory block coupled to a different processing tile within the same processing die, memory tiles in a different die stack, and memory tiles in a different device. The ratio of memory bandwidth (byte) to floating-point operation (B:F) may improve 50× for accessing the local memory block compared with conventional memory. Additionally, the energy consumed to transfer each bit may be reduced by 10×.

  • Publication number: 20240146828
Abstract: The present disclosure may use reverse forwarded socket connections and rules to manage program code that is being developed. Each developer responsible for developing program code may be provided unique login information that they may use to access data associated with a development environment. Validations of a user/developer and/or computer identity may be performed before a user is allowed to access and update sets of program code. Reverse forwarded socket connections may be associated with endpoints at a remote computer. Once a particular connection is established and a validation performed, identifiers may be used to direct communications to processes, sub-processes, virtual machines, or specific computing resources that are associated with the development environment. By using reverse forwarded socket connections, computers that run different types of operating system software may be used to develop program code without having to install specialized software on those computers.
