  • Patent number: 11837082
Abstract: An example operation includes one or more of initially determining, via one or more sensors on a transport, that the transport is approaching a one-way road in a wrong direction based on a slowing down of the transport and a movement of the transport toward the one-way road, notifying, via the one or more sensors, one or more occupants of the transport about the approaching, and in response to the transport continuing to approach in the wrong direction, slowing the transport, by a computer associated with the transport, to not permit entry into the one-way road.

Each of the support tower assemblies includes a support tower. One or more of the support tower assemblies includes a termination (i.e., a connection point via which electrical current and/or coolant can enter the transmission line and/or exit the transmission line). The power transmission system also includes multiple conductor assemblies suspended above a surface of the earth. Each conductor assembly includes an electrical conductor and is positioned between, and mechanically supported by, a pair of the support towers. The power transmission system also includes a coolant supply system that delivers a coolant fluid, during operation of the power transmission system, to at least one of the terminations, for cooling of the conductor assemblies.

  • Publication number: 20230379567
Abstract: Reflective surfaces and display devices adversely affect a videoconferencing camera. For example, reflections from bright lights may cause the camera to change exposure settings, resulting in participants appearing dimly lit. In another example, reflections of people or displayed images may be incorrectly used by automated image framing and tracking. Reflections from a surface are often polarized, as is light from many types of display devices. A polarizer in front of the camera is moved to provide different polarization angles relative to the camera, with images acquired at these different angles. The images are processed to determine a count of features, such as heads or faces, that are detected in the images. The angle that produces the minimum number of features may be subsequently used during acquisition of images by the camera for various purposes, such as videoconferencing.

  • Patent number: 11822375
Abstract: A method at a controller (112) of a database network (110) is provided. The controller (112) receives (S100) a request for a first set of data entries (200a). The request comprises a public identifier and an identifier of a first database (111a) of the plurality of databases (111) from which the first set of data entries (200a) is to be retrieved, each data entry (210) in the first set of data entries (200a) comprising a respective raw value for each of a plurality of attributes (220). The controller (112) retrieves the first set of data entries (200a) and uses the public identifier to transform (S120) the raw values of at least a first attribute (220a) of the plurality of attributes (220) into respective synthetic values. The controller (112) generates (S130) and outputs (S140) a first dataset (300a) comprising data entries having the synthetic values for the first attribute (220a) and the raw values for at least one of the attributes (220).
