  • Patent number: 11378045
Abstract: An air cleaner assembly can contain an air filter element to filter contaminant material out of an air stream. In some examples, the air cleaner assembly includes a housing with an integrated noise suppression chamber for supplying air to a downstream compressor. The housing forms a cavity into which an air filter element is inserted. Contaminated air enters the housing and passes through the air filter. Filtered air can discharge from the housing through a first opening supplying air to a combustion engine and a second opening supplying air to a compressor. Air supplied to the compressor passes from the interior of the housing containing the filter element and through the integrated noise suppression chamber before being discharged. The acoustic energy released by the filtered air stream exiting the air cleaner assembly may be reduced by passing through the noise suppression chamber.

  • Patent number: 11072470
Abstract: A diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) storage system may include a reservoir body having a magnet integrally formed about an inlet opening of the reservoir body. For example, the magnet may be molding about a perimeter of the inlet opening during a molding process in which the reservoir body is formed. In some examples, the inlet opening defines a lumen extending into an interior of the reservoir body with the magnet being positioned at a location along the lumen opposite an external end face. The position of the magnet may be effective to engage a corresponding magnet on a DEF fill nozzle, allowing DEF to be introduced into the reservoir body. By integrating the magnet into the reservoir body, protection features that prevent erroneous filling of the reservoir body cannot be removed or bypassed.

  • Publication number: 20110202591
Abstract: A system, method, and apparatus infrastructure provide real time wireless tracking of multiple initial data parameters transmitted from individual mobile receiving or system units installed in customer vehicles. A management network receives and decodes initial data parameters from respective receiving mobile units, matches and encodes the same according to stored predetermined customer specified format preferences, and transmits customer specified data streams to customers. An additional step correlates the received specified-data streams with additional public-supplied data or third-party contractually supplied data to provide an enhanced customer report enabling a number of reports; including a credibility determination between the public-supplied data and the received specified-data, a customer vehicle travel efficiency report, a safe operation vehicle report, and a vehicle operator effectiveness report.
