  • Publication number: 20150127415
Abstract: Some implementations can include a computerized method, system or computer readable media for generating a manufacturing defect risk assessment model. The method can include obtaining training data for a plurality of loans, the training data can include loan information and a forensic audit finding and deficiency code associated with each loan. The method can also include cleaning the training data to obtain data associated with a time of origination for each loan, and enriching the training data for each loan by adding additional data. The method can further include grouping deficiency codes into one or more classes of defects, in which each class includes one or more related defect codes. The method can also include selecting one or more variables for the manufacturing risk assessment model and assigning a coefficient to each selected variable.

  • Publication number: 20150097417
Abstract: A system and method for detecting a pre-charge pressure of a hydraulic braking system are disclosed. A controller receives pressure readings from a pressure sensor indicative of the pressure of a hydraulic brake accumulator or the lower pressure of more than one accumulator. In response to fluid being provided to the hydraulic accumulator, the controller determines a first rate of pressure change, a second rate of pressure change different than the first rate, and a transition pressure between the first and second rates. The controller determines an approximate pre-charge pressure of the hydraulic brake accumulator based on the transition pressure. A warning can be provided to the operator or another when the determined pre-charge pressure is lower than a reference pressure.

  • Publication number: 20140336883
Abstract: An articulated work machine determines the relative orientation of two members of the machine utilizing output from inertia sensors mounted on the members. The machine includes a first frame and a second frame having a body and a chassis, the body pivotally connected to the chassis at a pivot point. The first and second frames are connected by a coupling and are movable relative to each other in at least one direction. The machine includes a first multi-axis inertia sensor attached to the first frame providing an output relating to the position of the first frame, and a second multi-axis inertia sensor attached to the body providing an output relating to the position of the body. The machine further includes a controller configured to compare the outputs of the first and second multi-axis inertia sensors to calculate the position of the body and the first frame relative to each other.

  • Patent number: 8829805
Abstract: A variable load circuit (2) is provided for use with a dimmer (1). A low wattage load such as a LED (3) is provided in series with the dimmer and the variable load circuit is provided in parallel with the LED. The variable load circuit has two different load characteristics: when the applied voltage from the dimmer is below a threshold, the variable load circuit presents a fixed load (24), and when the applied voltage is above a threshold the variable load circuit presents a variable load so as to act as a constant current sink. The variable load is provided by a secondary load portion (25) which may or may not act in combination with the fixed load (24), and the secondary load portion (25) is switched in or out of the variable load circuit by a trigger circuit portion (26).

  • Publication number: 20140200903
Abstract: Embodiments include systems and methods for providing emergency alerts on a geospatial display. In one embodiment, a method is provided. The method can include receiving event data from one or more data management systems. The method can include determining at least one emergency event exists based at least in part on the received event data. Furthermore, the method can include outputting, via a display device, a scaled geospatial arrangement corresponding with a physical location, a grid, or a list. Moreover, the method can include outputting, via a display device, at least one color corresponding to the at least one emergency event, wherein the at least one color is one of a set of pre-assigned colors.

  • Patent number: 8401753
Abstract: A method for automatically controlling the downhill speed of a machine. The method includes establishing a target machine speed based on a current machine speed and determining whether at least one trigger condition including a grade greater than a predetermined threshold has been satisfied. If satisfied, the method activates a control system to control at least one of a powertrain retarder and a change in a transmission gear to prevent exceeding the target machine speed.

  • Patent number: 8369295
Abstract: System for providing non-flight critical aircraft sub-system communication, over an ALAN, meeting DO-254/DO-178 certification. This system deterministically makes data available to each aircraft sub-system without regard to specific bandwidth requirements. This system network supports functions that are certified on a non-interference basis. The system network deterministically places all non-required functionality into a low priority to assure that all required data functions sets are not dropped. One aspect of this system is how the clients are able to join sessions. In this system, network clients are preprogrammed based on their hardware coding to be able to join a specific LVAN, or LVANs, in accordance with their predetermined functions. The present system is an ALAN based on a ring Ethernet topology, for redundancy, which provides two paths to each connection point without requiring all the wiring associated with a star wiring topology.
