  • Patent number: 11937761
Abstract: An attachment for a vacuum cleaning appliance has a first part which is connectable to a main body of the appliance, and a second part which is connectable to the first part. The first part includes a crevice nozzle and a brush section which is moveable along the crevice nozzle between a retracted position and a deployed position. The second part includes a suction inlet, and is arranged to be push-fitted over the first part so that the crevice nozzle and the brush section of the first part are both stored within the second part when the second part is connected to the first part.

  • Patent number: 11897437
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for heat sanitizing a vehicle. In one example, a method may include, responsive to receiving a request for sanitization of a vehicle interior, activating an ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (UVGI) system and operating a heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) system to heat the vehicle interior above an upper threshold temperature for a threshold duration. In this way, the HVAC system may be advantageously used to expose the vehicle interior to temperatures that kill or inactive microbes while the UVGI system may supplement the heat sanitizing.

  • Patent number: 11807072
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for heat sanitizing a vehicle. In one example, a method may include, while receiving power from an external power source and responsive to receiving a request for cleaning an interior of a vehicle, operating an electric heater of a heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) system to heat the interior above an upper threshold temperature for a first threshold duration using the power received from the external power source. In this way, the HVAC system may be advantageously used to expose the vehicle interior to temperatures that kill or inactive microbes while vehicle battery power and fuel are conserved by using power supplied from the external power source.

  • Patent number: 11645628
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for translating time between calendar systems is described herein. The method includes accessing a first tree structure for a first calendar system, where data corresponding to the first tree structure include time intervals for the first calendar system that are arranged into layers of nodes, and where the layers of nodes are mapped to universal time. The method also includes scheduling a calendar content item corresponding to a time fragment relative to the universal time. The method further includes translating the calendar content item to a first human-readable time fragment for the first calendar system by traversing the first tree structure corresponding to the first calendar system to convert the time fragment to the first human-readable time fragment based on the mapping of the layers of nodes of the first tree structure to the universal time.

  • Patent number: 11528823
Abstract: An industrial control device includes a display, a body, a first sensor, and a controller. The body includes a facia wall, an inner shroud, and an outer shroud. The facia wall includes a window that is a transparent material aligned to permit the display to be viewed through the window. The inner shroud extends rearward from a rear side of the facia wall. The outer shroud is disposed about the inner shroud and extends rearward from the rear side of the facia wall and is spaced apart from the inner shroud to define a cavity. A seal member is within the cavity forms a seal with a facia plate disposed about the inner shroud. The first sensor detects contact with a front surface of the facia wall. The controller is coupled to an output of the first sensor. The controller is coupled to the display and controls the display.
