  • Publication number: 20170347360
Abstract: In one example, a device for assigning a mobile endpoint device to an access point based upon a power state is disclosed. For example, the device may include a processor deployed in a wireless network and a computer-readable medium storing instructions which, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to perform operations. The operations may include detecting power states of a plurality of mobile endpoint devices that are in communication with a first access point of the network, the power states including a first power state of a first mobile endpoint device, determining a loading condition of a region of the wireless network that includes the first access point, and assigning the first mobile endpoint device to a second access point that is outside of the region when the first mobile endpoint device is in the first power state, in response to the determining of the loading condition.

  • Publication number: 20170344654
Abstract: Content data items in a first electronic file that correspond to entities in a database comprising categorized entities are identified. Modified content data items of a second electronic file are generated, the modified content data items indicating how the content data items are to be interpreted by a natural language query answering system. Information in the second electronic file indicating how the content data items are to be interpreted by the natural language query answering system are modified in response to user input. The second electronic file is used by the natural language query answering system to facilitate analysis of a natural language query regarding content in the first electronic file. Results of the analysis using the natural language query answering system are output.

  • Patent number: 9829141
Abstract: This patent document discloses an improved series of nozzles and completion plugs for use in installing linestops in pressurized pipes. The improved nozzles are capable of accommodating two different types of completion plugs, including a threaded completion plug and a push-in type completion plug that is held in place within the nozzle by pins that extend through a flange of the nozzle. Lower edges of the nozzles are designed to facilitate the welding of the nozzle to an upper clamp or upper saddle member. Specifically, the lower or proximal beveled edge includes an inner lip that acts as a dam to prevent seepage of welding material between the proximal edge of the nozzle and the upper saddle member during the welding of the former to the latter.

  • Patent number: 9829037
Abstract: Load sharing stacked bearing structure including first bearing having a first inner race, first outer race and first set of roller elements housed between first inner race and first outer race and a second bearing having a second inner race, second outer race and second set of roller elements housed between second inner race and the second outer race. A housing surrounds the first and second bearings. First compliant element is provided with the first compliant element connected between the housing and the first outer race. The first compliant element, first outer race and housing define at a pressure chamber. The first outer race axially slidable relative to the second outer race such that an increase in pressure in pressure chamber causes a change in axial spacing between the outer races. This induces an additional axial load on the bearings which helps balance thrust load sharing.
